“This was our first time visiting Rancho Bravo in Pocahontas. It a great little Mexican restaurant (also a Mexican store). The service was great. We were seated quickly. Plenty of chips and salsa was provided. Drinks were kept full. I had the Burrito Del Rio. Be aware if you order this that it is HUGE!! REALLY HUGE!! Plenty for two meals. We had a great time here.“
“Mercadito Latino is a WONDERFUL place and adds a very nice touch of cultural enrichment to the small town of Pocahontas, AR. It is a family-owned grocery store that carries things like fresh-cut meat, banana leaves, and kimchee, as well as your normal household items such as milk, bread, eggs, spices, and toilet paper. They have a box of ready-to-eat ethnic foods, like handmade tamales and papusas at extremely reasonable prices and a wide variety of affordable Mexican candies and beverages, like banana soda, Mexican Coke, and various flavors of aloe drinks. They also have a wide array of cultural items such as Latino clothing, pottery, and candles. And they deliver!! The owner is a very honest man and is very invested in his business so that every guest leaves satisfied.“

“I'm a truck driver so i dont quite fit in the drive thru to order, so i made an online order. They were so quick with my order. They were so welcoming and sweet. I pulled up to the drive through, shortly after, they walked my order out to my truck.
Parking: If the lot is empty, you can pull your semi truck(I wouldnt try to bring the trailer) in.“

“I've been to Acapulco many times ever since it opened up here in Pocahontas all those years ago. The waiters have always been friendly the food has always been good and the portion sizes are always generous.
I do have one critique based on my last visit though. I ordered some nachos and it had bacon in it. I noticed the flavor was a bit off for bacon and it was also a pretty big chunk. Looking at it closer I realized it was actually hog jowl.
I'm sure this is done to cut cost as bacon is a more expensive cut of meat than hog jowl. It also tastes close to bacon so it may fool some people.
However, this is wrong to fool your customers this way. If the menu says it has bacon on it, I expect bacon, not a cheaper, lower quality meat. That's like advertising steak but giving someone ground beef pressed into a steak shape.
At the absolute very LEAST I would have liked to have been told that the bacon was substituted with hog jowl when i ordered so that I could have made a different choice.
I still love Acapulco and I'll still go there, but needless to say, I won't be ordering anything that has bacon on their menu again.“
