“Wife and I live an hour away, and recently visited for the first time. We've eaten at a variety of Mexican Restaurants in Memphis, Jonesboro, Little Rock, Mountain Home, Searcy, Conway, Harrison, Fayetteville, Springfield,, Branson, etc. Dona Chuy's in Batesville is now our favorite by far! We've been back a 2nd time within a month, and hope to do a third time soon.“

“Edit - came back 2 days later because it's so good. Got the birria quesadilla today ... Holy cow it was awesome! Not on the menu, but ask for them. Delicious! 3 for $12. I think they come with rice and beans, but I did but want them.

Wow, great experience at Las Playitas! I wish I had this place at home. Started out great with a huge basket of chips and salsa in the little vase thing so I can pour out more. Ordered a la carte 2 beef soft tacos and 1 chimichanga. Normally I order 2 tacos, but the chimichanga was such a great price a la carte that I had to try it. Boy I'm glad I did! It was very tender chicken and juicy. Probably the best chimichanga I've ever had. Then the tacos were absolutely huge. Very unexpected but very grateful and they were delicious. You definitely need to try this place out and I plan on coming back even though I'm only in town a few days. Staff was great, and prices were really great! All my food was $10.“

“My MIL is Guatemalan, and we pop in her for a multitude of stuff; from ingredients to the occasional lunch.This day we popped in for lunch, and we both got some pork street tacos. Now, they're not your taco bell tacos, so if this is what you want, go there, not here.It helps if you aren't afraid to try more authentic foods, and places, in general, and it does help if you speak enough Spanish to at least get your wants met. I luck out cos of my MIL, and being in the family for 20yrs.Still, don't let that put you off, the workers speak English and the menu/products are in English as well, and if they aren't, they're self-explanatory really.Adventurous eaters, and just want something more "real...Go!!!Ya never know, you might stumble onto something you take a shine to⭐??“

Vegetarian options: Typical vegetarian options for a Mexican restaurant. The beans were great & unlike some other restaurants that claim their beans are vegetarian but they clearly contain bacon fat, I do believe this place is true to their word & keeps their beans vegetarian.“

“The food was good and the restaurant was clean. I can't say much for the service because there is no longer service with a system that makes the customer enter in their own order. I understand that all restaurants are going to this setup, but it completely eliminates the interaction with the staff. Was the way it used to be really so inconvenient?“
