“I really like this place. My first introduction to Slim Chickens for me came when I lived in Texarkana. It was my first time and I’ve enjoyed them ever since. I’m glad they have had one in the Russellville area for a while now and I prefer them over the other same type restaurants in this area. The food, desserts, and service are always good.“

“Several years ago, when I first reviewed the Pizza Hut in Russellville it was a booming business with lots of customers and it offered a buffet lunch that included various pizzas and a salad bar. It was an excellent deal and made for a fast way to get a complete lunch during an often short (at least it always seemed to be) lunch hour. Over the years since, that Pizza Hut stopped serving the salad bar and was just a take out or eat in Pizza place like most of the others in town. We stopped going there for lunch because it did not offer the buffet and salad bar and it was too time consuming to order a pizza and wait for it to be prepared during the lunch hour. My family tried it again while the buffet was not available and there was only my family and one other couple in the restaurant during the main lunch hour. After that, I could not help but notice that as I passed by during the lunch hour, the number of cars in the parking lot seemed to dwindle. I am pleased to note that they have brought the buffet back but it no longer includes a salad bar. Just various types of pizza and some pasta as an additional selection. You can still get a salad but it is separate and extra. The pizza buffet was well-stocked with pizza when we were there and the price was reasonable. The buffet was approximately 10 dollars per person but that did not include the drink. Even so, it was a lot of food for that price during today’s inflation. I am giving them the 5 star rating because they seem to be making a comeback and because, even though the buffet is not as luxurious as the old days, it is still good pizza and all you can eat. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is clean and comfortable.“

“Y’all have to figure a way to speed it up. Have option for online ordering to park and get food instead of waiting in a line for 30 min when you ordered 15 min prior. designated spots with numbers would be perfect with option to call in and give them your number and have it brought out. I finally called and they told I could pull around ( no designated spot) and someone would bring it. Guy came out 3 times before he brought my food and made it sound like it was my fault he couldn’t find it even though they found it when I called.“

“Not sure who the lady was working the counter, but she was absolutely amazing! My daughter is autistic and sometimes ordering food can turn into a full blown fit when she's overwhelmed, and this lady was God sent! Sounds ridiculous with just getting dinner, but anything that makes my life a little bit easier is very much appreciated. So to whoever she was, I hope you know just how much it meant, and your kindness really did matter!!!“

“I have to have a special Pizza because I'm allergic to pork so I always have to tell them to use clean gloves clean everything so that I don't have a reaction to anything that was touched with pork cuz it's a bad reaction but loved their pizza was very good ?“
