“Stumbled on this place on our way from NWA to Tulsa. It was FANTASTIC. The food was so fresh and locally sourced. You can tell everything is prepped daily. Coffee was a high quality brew. Pricing was great. Costumer service was five stars. Highly recommend!”

“On a Sunday afternoon it was not very busy. The worker let my kids have a taste of the different flavored pearls as they decided what they wanted to order. There was comfortable seating and fun table games to play while we waited for our five drinks. Mad Gab was great to entertain us for a while. The drinks were all yummy and everyone left happy. All the beers on tap are Arkansas-brewed! It looked like the people eating mostly brought food with them (some pizza boxes and such), but we were there for trivia night and a drink so we didn't even inquire about food.”

When you walk in the door, the smell makes you salivate, the sight of all the different donuts under the glass will astonish you, and the sound of the customers picking out their favorites makes you change your mind several times while you wait your turn. “I have been coming to the cafe since 2006 when I moved here originally. Used to be THE PLACE my friends and I would gather in high school and college. It has changed a lot over the years, and though I’m loving the new facelift, would love to see some of the originals brought back. The OG tomato basil soup with croissant was the absolute best tomato soup I’ve ever had. Miss the croissants. Miss the flawless Java chip! Miss the tuna melt and LOVE the cilantro ranch forever. “First Cup This morning I had my first cup of this day at the Ground Floor Café on the beautiful campus of John Brown University. El Socorro Honey Maracaturra from Guatemala. A delicate, sweetly tart with juicy, high-toned acidity..., a lively cup indeed. Here is the description from Olympia Coffee. “Honey Processing leaves a bit of coffee cherry intact after pulping, skipping fermentation altogether and allowing the coffee cherry's natural sugars to marinate into the bean while sun drying. The result is a lush, fruiter version of what is already one of Guatemala’s greatest coffees.” Olympia Coffee. To be crystal clear, it is my earnest opinion that there is not a better place in our immediate territory for a finer cup of coffee than the Ground Floor. The staff are simply the best. Their commitment to consistency, the highest quality of process, without compromise is outstanding. I can lead a horse to the trough, I cannot force the horse to drink.
