“I have been going here for years. They have the best salsa and queso around. Even compared to all the Mexican restaurants in Fayetteville. The food is great. Only reason I gave it 4 stars are the prices. But, I understand they have to run a business and it's not cheap. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Fantastic food and a great atmosphere!!

“El Jefe is so dang good! I’ve had the quesabirria twice now, and I just tried their pastor and chorizo tacos as well. The food is SO flavorful! The sauces are great too! The staff is also very friendly! It has been about a 20 minute wait both times I’ve gone, BUT the food is always hot and fresh, so it’s worth the wait! Highly recommend this hidden gem!“

Not great customer service just in the sense that when we requested refills they didn't come as often to provide it but other than that the food is fantastic I would return just for that! ☺️“

“Went last night, live really close and wanted it to be good…still torn on it. 1) Drinks, Beer was fresh and cold and margaritas were solid. 2) Have to order chips and salsa as an appetizer, not complimentary like normal 🙄 3) Very, very limited menu 4) Queso cheese dip was watery and very bland 5) service was decent and average, but not bad 6) we left after drinks since nothing on the limited menu sounded good“

“We went to Tula for an end of the year dinner for the first time and really enjoyed our meal. My husband said it was the closet to taste of the mole he had in Chihuahua Mexico. Next time you want some mole go to Tula.

“I wanted to spend the day in Fayetteville and was really looking for something local, unique, and delicious. I stumbled upon Plomo. It was everything I was hoping for! A cute and unique little place to have a great quesadilla that you won’t find anywhere else. The inside is so cool!! While I was there I received top notch customer service from not only the gentleman working at the counter, but I also had the pleasure of meeting the director of operations who was training the new gentleman at the counter. I found that to be so humble. Not only did I receive great fresh food and fantastic customer service I also got a cool little sticker! I will definitely be coming back to Plomo. Also, if they ask you if you want your quesadilla made dirty, the answer is YES!! I’ll let you figure out why when you go there! Fantastic place who knows how to deliver a whole product.“

“My daughter and I dined in. The food was great! Salsa was good even my daughter ate it. She practically drank the cheese dip it was so good. I ordered fajita steak tacos and the steak was tender and the tacos were well seasoned! We even ordered fried ice cream and it was a huge hit! The service was amazing! Food wasn’t delayed and front of house team made sure everyone was taken care of in record time!“

“We had the most delicious meal last night and the service was excellent! This is an Austin, Tx. based restaurant and we are glad they are here in Fayetteville. The food is authentic Mexican with lots of choices. I had the Serranos Special with marinated chicken and steak with Sauteed vegetables and it was so flavorful. I make a lot of fresh salsa and theirs is yummy. Great food, good prices, and big servings. The margaritas are made with fresh juice not pre-mix and the beer is cold. Go have a meal at Serranos Mexican Grill on West MLK and enjoy!“

“The murals on the wall are Instagram material. Food is on point. Tamale Dinner is my go to 11 out of 10. But everything here is good. Beans are so yummy! Tacos are divine 9 out of 10. Enchiladas are a 7 out of 10. The fried avacado dinner is most definitely a 10 out of ten. Salsa & chips gets a 5 out of 10 but that is my only complaint. Chips need salt & salsa needed spice.“
