“My husband had a cup of gumbo to start with. It was thick and tasty. The shrimp and catfish po’boys are very good. The poboy sandwiches come with fries and hushpuppies. Unfortunately, the hushpuppies don’t have much taste. Although the catfish was well prepared, it was awkward to eat and not evenly distributed across the sandwich. The prices seemed a little high, but this is Memphis.“
“Food was really good for the price! Service was "OK". We wish they would have cleaned the poop vein out of the lobster tails, and that was the only reason we didn't rate 5/5! Will go there again for the quality/quantity vs price! Truely better than Joe's Crab Shack in comparison!“
“Was walking by and noticed fried green tomatoes on the menu and had to stop in for a snack. I ended up ordering the fried green tomato appetizer with the lump crab on top... It was so delicious!! It came with a remoulade sauce that added that New Orleans flare... So good!! Rich had the crawfish Mac n cheese and order of the beignets. All this time I thought New Orleans had the best beignets but Ben Yay's are so amazingly delicious!! They're flaky and fluffy and just heaven in your mouth!! The atmosphere was great and the service was the best! Friendly people, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back.Parking: It is on Main St so during the busy times parking may be difficult to find. There are 2 lots within walking distance.“
“Came here with Taylor from Tasting Round Town walking food tour and had the smoked wings. They were so good we came back for more and also had the fried green tomatoes, also delicious. Kim the bartender was very sweet and the staff was nice. Cowboy and the band were awesome.“
“This was our first time coming to this location. The hostess told us to seat ourselves instead of getting up to seat us. We were the only customers at that time. A dirty table was never cleaned. Server never checked on us after receiving our food. This location doesn't offer the same menu items as the other locations.“
