“My second time and it got even better. My wife and I dropped in on a Friday. I really try to avoid the weekend crowds, especially in Southaven due to restaurants being overcrowded. Juicy crab is big and spacious so that wasn't a problem.The food was perfectly seasoned and wait time was not too long. We forgot our waitress name but she went above and beyond serving us. Together we ordered 3 1/2 lbs snow crabs, 1lb crawfish, and 1lb shrimp. We also tried soft shelled crab and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. Of course we had the extras like corn, egg, and potatoes.We gave it our all but we needed a to go bag and two teenagers finished the leftovers the next day and they were stuffed. It was a lot of food. As far as the atmosphere, music was playing on the bar side which wasn't too loud. I'm a really big guy and I'm always worried about seating and the sturdiness of chairs. My seat held me with ease, which was reassuring. Staff was very friendly, inviting, and professional. If you're of the younger crowd the weekends are for you. If a quiet dinner is what you're looking for try during the week. Definitely our go to spot.“
“Let me tell you, I waited way too long to review Crawfish Haven! They’re consistently so good! I am someone who only sometimes likes anything seafood but I’m always willing to eat here. The shrimp and grits is the best my whole family has ever had. My husband almost always tries shrimp and grits anywhere that has it on the menu and Crawfish Haven is always the standard comparison lol Some have come close but in the end no one else compares (this includes out of state travels)! In the past I’ve tried sausage poboy, boudin balls, Cajun shrimp plate, desserts…. It’s all a 10/10. Not to mention their wonderful customer service! Don’t hesitate to try this place out! I guarantee you it’s better than ANY surrounding seafood restaurants, they’re in a league of their own. :)“
“Now look JZ ain't no fancy ass spot but what i can tell you one thing for sho is that food be smacking. Them seafood boils hit every time just make sure you get that extra sauce and the fried chicken and fish and shrimp gone hit something crazy too. Service is to be expected just order ahead cause you definitely gone wait. All in all this a 8/10“
“LOVE this place!! A foodie-friend recommended we try it and I'm hooked! The hospitality, food and drinks were all wonderful - but the desserts... their bread pudding was so well done! I cleaned my plate and ordered another to take home, I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the great dining experience!“

“Maurice (the head Manager) is great! Hands on, he’s out on the floor working as hard if not harder than any of his employees!I had a little problem with my order, it wasn’t exactly what I originally ordered. He came over immediately, set things straight and my order came back perfect!!!The Red Pier is my favorite. Not the one closest to my house. “We had been wanting to try this place for a while. My wife had the Prime Rib sandwich special. It was ok but kind of blan. My son got the jalapeños cheese burger and I got the muffuleta and we halved them and shared. The cheese burger had great taste and was really good. The muffuleta was really good. I ordered my fries extra chrispy but they came out just plan. We will definitely go back and give them another try“
“Oh my the goodness everything was so delicious so much flavor. No second guessing just go you will not regret it. I use to eat crawfish from other companies the favor was is off. I use to taste so much dirt in my crawfish. Memphis Crawfish Company is the best I ever I had in Memphis.“
“Our first time there. Our server, Miranda, was great and attentive. We started off with the Cajun fried corn on the cob appetizer. I suggest that upon serving that appetizer to your patrons to caution them that it is extremely hot (not spicy) but HOT! Will prevent burned lips when corn is bitten into and liquid squirts out. The fried fish, shrimp, and French fries were awesome! Slaw and roll nothing to write home about. Gal bartending was not very professional as I actually saw her vape once and eat a meal at her counter. She was also using language that I thought was inappropriate even in the friendly way she was speaking to her customer. I was surprised to read some of the recent negative reviews. We had a good experience and will return.“
“We live in St Louis Mo area and decided to try it on our pass thru. Food was really good. We had the blackened catfish and Parmesan grits and also Crawfish Étouffée. Both were delicious. The manager was very friendly and made it a point to talk with us about our visit.“
