“I've been proud to be part of the Nic’s Italian Steak & Crab House family for the past eight years. What makes this place so special? It starts with the incredible food, crafted daily by our talented Chef Gerardo, using recipes created by our visionary founder, Michelle Jurisin.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow in many roles—not only as a server, but also as a trainer and sauté chef. One of my favorite experiences has been collaborating with Chef on desserts for special occasions, including preparing sweet creations for the annual Chocolate Walk in Old Town Cottonwood each December.

During the challenges of the pandemic, our founder Eric Jurisin went above and beyond to ensure that every team member was supported—none of us missed a paycheck or lost health coverage. That kind of leadership speaks volumes.

Restaurant work isn’t always easy, but I still find real joy in it. Now, with our new owners Andrea and Ryan Pedersen, that same family spirit lives on. They genuinely care about both our guests and our team, and they lead with respect and integrity.

“The BBQ Ribs I had were the most tender, flavorful, falling of the bone delicious I've ever had in my 70 years of eating Ribs! They were at least 1 to 1 1/2 inchs thick! COLT was recommended by my neighbor Mike & RoseAnn at the Thousand Trails outside of Cottonwood. Thanks for the best BBQ Ribs I've ever eaten.”

“I fn love this place. The BEST coffee in the area, including Sedona & they even make their own fresh Almond milk, can’t beat that! & the FOOD… gurl… SO. GOOD. I like to get the Greek Wrap, it’s a big fatty stuffed with deliciousness, my favorite place to go out to eat by FAR. It’s a small place & everything is super fresh & made to order, small menu but what they do they do WELL & I so appreciate that, they’re very consistent, the place is always CLEAN too. They have many vegan options, sometimes they even have fresh vegan muffins. Great selection of Smoothies too. I highly recommend Wholesome Fast food, you should check them out sometime, bring your friends, chill out, eat some DELICIOUS healthy food & enjoy all the pretty indoor plants in this hidden Oasis 🐝

“Stumbled on this little place. When travelling we never go to a chain restaurant. it is easy to find local places in cottonwood. Georgie's was found while cycling around town. Our server was great. Foid was sensational. We all had breakfast items. We sat outside, and were all the only ones outside. our coffee was always full, and our server was attentive. Great place for a local flair”

“Dropped in with 25 boys and men with our Boy Scout Troop from Mississippi. The staff was excellent. The food was phenomenal! Yall even had a license plate on the wall from our county back home! Six years later, and our visit to Bing's still holds a special place in my memories of our trip! Loved our visit!!!”

“Had a great experience at the Cottonwood Denny's. We had a bad cut of meat in 2nof our steaks (tough), however Nathan our waiter took them back and brought us new steaks that were perfect. Nathan is a great waiter and always has a smile and very profession and courteous. Thanks again Nathan!”

“We are not from cottonwood but we found las salcitas Mexican restaurant it was very good food we order carne asada burritos they were very big and tasty and a quesadilla, it been a long time since I haven’t taste really delicious Mexican food, very spacious place,easy to park I definitely recommend this place, next time I know were to go when we go to cottonwood”

They serve up local beers and wine and it's a fun place to hang out.
Service is great.
They have a big outdoor patio, it's nice to sit out there and enjoy some sunshine.
A must-visit when in Cottonwood.

I literally chugged my beer flight just to be done. 2 IPA, Belgium and a Red Ale. The IPA and Red Ale only tasted smokey, infected. “We ordered two ramen bowls, they were amazing!! We kept eating off of each others loving both!! Fresh vegetables, meat, the noodles were cooked perfect and the juice was perfect!! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient! It was our first time there but we’re treated as if we were regulars. Which we lost definitely will become! I can’t wait to try more items on the menu! There is an amazing selection! I am so thankful many of our friends and the community has encouraged is to try it!”

“My last two visits to The Human Bean have been pretty terrible experiences and I’ve reached out twice trying to speak with someone about it and haven’t heard back, other than from someone that said my message forwarded to the right people. The last visit was so bad I had to throw my drink away. Other than those two visits and the lack of customer support, other experiences have been perfect. We’ll be taking a small break for now from The Human Bean though and won’t be giving a specific location a third chance.”

“We went late, the atmosphere was quiet, the service was good and the staff was friendly. My husband loved his meal, I thought mine was okay. I would call this family and I prefer street style. Prices are good and the portions were more than enough, we both had leftovers.”

“Horrible service even when it's not busy. Came in around 1pm about a week ago and left around 4pm and that wasn't because we wanted to be there. Had to go get a server to come to our table to take our order after sitting there for over an hour and then it took over an hour to even get our food. 3 hours in a restaurant is insane. Just saying. Most of the tables were empty. This was not the first time it has happened either. Black bear has lost our business.”
