“We got food from this place today. It was the first time I have had it and it was absolutely amazing. It did not taste like restaurant food. It tasted like your Mexican friend invited you over to their grandmother's house for a nice Sunday dinner. I had pot roast cooked with green chilies, tomatoes, potatoes and onions. The drippings were at the same time reminiscent of the pot roast we ate in the south yet totally different with a mild spicy heat and a depth of character not found in a roast I would have ate growing up in an Anglo home. The beans and rice were amazing. I also had a tortilla soup that was one of the best I have ever had. I look forward to eating this again.”

“I have eaten here many time and never taken the time to do a review and I have never been disappointed! The folks here are very friendly. The food is good and always good portions! My go to faves are the Gyro with fries or their selection of fresh salads. If you’re in the area, drop in and give them a try….just not on Mondays…they are closed.

“Anyone who doesn't like the food in this restaurant has no appreciation for good Mexican food. Everything is always excellent especially their taco salad with chicken which ranks best of any I have had in all the Mexican restaurants I have visited throughout the country. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated in a very old, historic building. The city of Douglas is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant for the locals and visitors and I hope it will continue to thrive.”

“The best wings, anywhere! The wings are so, so delicious! Super crispy, great sauces, terrific prices! Food service is sometimes slow but usually worth the wait. Pool tables, lots of televisions, friendly service, I love this place!”

“When in Douglas and in doubt, grab this Sonoran hot dog. While we enjoyed the extra extra crispiness of the bacon dog, the regular version is delicious too. Also, you can't beat the price at this food truck, making it a win-win!”

“I haven't eaten the food, I always get the frozen ice coffee sugar free vanilla. Today I was in there and order a frozen coffee and I asked for the senior discount and the young lady was supposed to have given me one with a discount. She charged me 6.25 and when I mentioned it. She told me that it was the correct price so I told it's weird cause I was there the other day and the other young lady only charge me 5.76 or something like that and she said that now they charge for the whipped cream. I said is that right since when. I just want to know if it's true. This isn't the first time she has charge me like that”

“Went with my sister for brunch, she only recently moved to my area and I wanted her to see and enjoy this historic hotel. We ate in the restaurant, I had the chili relleno omelet, she had the southwestern BLT with fries. I loved my dish and had enough left to bring home. She enjoyed hers as well but...BEWARE...as she was eating her french fries she nearly broke a tooth biting into what she thought was a french fry....it was a battered and deep fried chicken bone that had found its way into the fryer. We alerted the waitress.....that might have been a terribly expensive mistake for the restaurant as my sister came close to breaking a tooth on it! Otherwise it was all very good.”
