Subway in Tucson

“This review is for Vicki.

I went to this subway for a year and recently moved away, and of all the food places in tucson I will miss this subway because of Vicki. She closed what seems like every night, or at least everytime I would go after work for a sandwich. Vicki has a way of making you feel like you're watching an italian grandma making you food with warm, real conversation.

She works this job because she wants to, and she takes pride in her workspace and treating her customers well. Vicki, I wish you the best of days with your family always. I'll think of you when I walk into a subway 🍪“

“Saturday evening there was only one employee working, and I waited almost 20 minutes for my turn. The employee worked hard, but having only one person running the store isn’t enough. There should be at least 2 employees on shift at all times, even during slow hours, to ensure better service and reasonable wait times.“

“I built my own sub and if I do say so myself I did a pretty good job. Seriously though, I wish I would have gotten the names of the employees working. They were fantastic and had loads of patience. My daughter and I went into Subway at 17:30 (5:30pm) on 01/27/2025. I hope I have narrowed things down. My contacts were extremely cloudy and it was getting dark. I can't see to drive very well at night and my daughter doesn't drive. I might have seemed hurried and a bit moody to the employees there. They handled it with class and dedication. I am so sorry if I seemed a bit cross. My sandwich was delicious and I will definitely be back in a better mood. It's no excuse, I could have asked but I didn't know if you could still build your own sub with the ingredients you wanted or if the menu changed to what was suggested. With the patience of everyone who works here and the quality of the food, I can't wait to come back. This franchise is better than the expensive place across the street“

“I'm a Student at Pueblo Highschool across the street and I have to say that this subway is the best Place I go to after school to have a bite to eat and study, Service is quick and and the food is good, Atmosphere is great a Great place to study after school and eat, 10/10 (student discount is great😉)“

“I recently started going to Subway again once they came out with protein pockets. This location is also very convenient for my job. After going to another Subway recently, I realized that this Subway is amazing because of the people who work there, they are so friendly and so helpful. Honestly, that kind of service is what makes me want to visit a specific location. And I think this is my new favorite Subway. “We went in today there was a girl working by herself Handling mobile orders and people walking in. She was so sweet and amazing! Great customer service even when she had a difficult man in the lobby . She either needs a raise or someone else to help her out because she was so busy but had the best attitude in the world !“

“Manager or lead person always says Hello or Morning, acknowledges you. Staff is always courteous. They have food laid out looking fresh, plenty of bread. Sandwiches are wonderful! I live near another Subway which socks, I go out of my way to get good service!“

“I went to the location on Twin Peaks last night. The two gals were super sweet helped all 4 of us with our meats at the last hour(s) of the day but the bread was hard, yes I get a meal, ate it and was full but my soul wants happy. Today I go this location and my go to 15 Titan Turkey was amazing, as seen on the menu not toasted and send it! The gal was awesome, made the sandwich while still small talking, made me feel very welcome in the busy gas staion.“

“I went to this location on 9/19/25 at 3:00 and all I can say is the young adults that work here? They are amazing! What good kids! All 3 of them! So welcoming, so friendly, and attentive ! It was so refreshing stopping in n being treated safe pleasantly! Food was fresh sub was jam packed n put together so perfectly! It was made the exact way I wanted it! Stop by this subway! You won’t be disappointed! Leave these young people a tip! They so deserve it! I have a support pup n they were extremely kind to him as well! IM SO IMPRESSED WITH THESE YOUNG ADULTS! I did take out n ordered the sweet onion chicken teriyaki ft long! Extremely delicious! I hope the owner of this store realizes n appreciates his employees!! Good job!! Thank you!

“I went to the La Cholla & Magee store today. Both employees were great and helpful. I even teased the manager about how much sugar was on the churro, we both laughed. The store was clean including the restroom. The only possible negative was there was no napkin in my to go bag.“

“My family and I have been going to this Subway for about a year now, and I can confidently say that this is the best Subway I’ve ever been to. We’ve always used the Subway app to order online and never had issues until they messed up our order one time. Messing up one time out of twenty is not bad, but here’s the kicker. I called this Subway location the moment I found out the order was wrong, and the management and the crew were more than willing to help me and my family out to some new, correct sandwiches with an added bonus of free cookies! “Was just there to pickup my order. Amari, was working by herself. My online order wasn’t ready, which was ok I didn’t mind waiting, seeing that she was working really hard. She kept a smile on her face and greeted everyone walking in and kept a steady pace. She apologized for the wait, everyone there understood. The staff was friendly and professional. ???? Even though there was no diet coke to pick up with my order, the staff attempted make things right by offering additional substitutes. “I went to this location for a quick late lunch today and I was extremely satisfied with the service. Brandon greeted me with a smile when I walked in and made sure I was satisfied with my sandwich. While I was eating and no one was in line he was cleaning, every other subway I have been to they sit on their phones. If anyone knows Brandon tell him his work ethic is impeccable. This will be the only location I go to from now on!!“

“We ate here 2/4 before 9:00 pm and we had Dedrick as our sandwich artist. I appreciate Dedricks friendliness, costumer service and for taking her time and explaining the new protein pockets ingredients. She was super amazing and was constantly making sure we were doing well and if we needed anything and also letting us know where napkins and utensils were located.“
