We did takeout, couple of entrees and an app. The food was delicious and portions are huge. We ordered online and food was ready in 15-20 minutes. Hostess was courteous and everything was packaged perfectly. Having just moved into Anthem, I bet natives and locals underappreciate this place. For where it is and what it is, Shanghai is a gem for quick and tasty takeout. Based on my first and only experience, I'm definitely ordering again!
My sister and I dined here last evening, January 26th. My sister ordered cashew chicken and I had the sweet and sour chicken. We shared both dishes. The cashew chicken had a great flavor with nice crisp vegetables. The temperature of the food was hot. The sweet and sour chicken on the other hand was not really hot temperature wise. My family was visiting and wanted Chinese food. This was our first time eating here. All I can say is " wow!". What an unexpected surprise. The food is really really good. We will definitely make this our go to place for Chinese food. Don't let the outside of the building sway your opinion. It's a hidden gem inside.
