We recently arrived in Apache Junction and discovered El Gordo Mexican Grill. Really good food, priced well. Going back soon.
I tried this place for the 1st time. I saw they have a drive thru which I normally do for lunch, but thus visit I really wanted to go inside, sit at a table and eat. I didn't know that this restaurant was liturally inside a gas station. They do have 3 tables to eat at, but they are very claustrophobic, for me so if stop here again it will strictly be drive thru only. Really good Mexican restaurant with a full bar and wonderful margaritas. Disappointing the lunch menu they offer is only available Monday through Friday. Everything was really including service. Food is made in house fresh and served up hot. Definitely recommend.
