“My family really enjoys ordering food from this place, it's always perfect (tell me how these guys get it right everytime and any actual fast food messes up 6 things in one order) they even have. Kids menu and it's definitely worth the $6.“
“What a great find! We live in Phoenix, but love to come out this way for hiking and Goldfield. We stopped in last Friday for lunch after a hike and it was the prefect spot. Great service, good ambiance, kid-friendly, and a super fun menu, including boozy brunch drinks. But the standout, and the reason I can't stop thinking about getting back there, is the Brunch Torta. Every bite is better than the last - the flavor, the texture, I can't even describe it! Andddd, now I'm hungry...“
“Love love love their handmade tortillas! Their flavored tortillas are so incredibly good. So far my favorites are the sundried tomato and the cacio y pepe.Their whole wheat flour made with lard are a great breakfast warmed with butter and cinnamon or mashed avocado. Sometimes I used peanut butter and sliced fruit. The blue corn make really good base for my Chicken Enchilada casserole.Look for them on Thursdays at their shop in Apache Junction or at the Gilbert Farmer's Market.“
“This was a small butcher shop and bakery as well as a place to dine and do financial business. The employees were friendly and spoke English and Spanish. The store was clean and well organized. I had delicious tacos and a burrito to go. I would highly recommend a visit to this store!“
“Took son for dinner and ( it was great ?????I spent a lot of time in Mexico when I was pre teen all up and down Baja ,Ensenada the food at this restaurant is (REAL) The Flan was the best I’ve had in years . I know where I’m eating when I’m in AJ ❤️ ??????and the server was extremely nice, very very good food ?“
“I am new to the area & tried this place out. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant with excellent food and service. Prices are competitive and servings are plentifull!! I got a lunch plate burrito and had enough leftover for another meal! Husband got chicken loaded nachos and my mom got a tostada à la cart and it was huge ! They do lots of takeout service here. There are some tables to eat inside and one picnic table outside if the weather is nice. It’s not the best atmosphere to dine in but if you’re not picky, it will work. Call ahead for to go orders. We will be going back here. Food is fresh!“
“Went here for Taco Tuesday and the food was great! Server was very friendly. You certainly can tell there's new ownership. We were greeted when we came in the door and not ignored like at Elvira's previously. Going to try Enchilada Wednesday next!“
“We are staying in Apache Junction and the restaurant was so close we could walk to it. We love Mexican food, so we gave it a try. They seated us outside on the patio, which is very nice and even has a water feature. Their chips and salsa were very good, and our order was taken by an efficient crew member.I had the seafood enchiladas with poblano sauce, and my wife had the carnitas. My dish was excellent but my wife was disappointed with her carnitas. Their menu mentions their carnitas are made from pork cutlets instead of pork shoulder. The carnital were kind of chewy and not as flavorful as carnitas from pork shoulder. The carnitas were not bad just not what my wife expected. We would go here again but my wife will order something else“
“That’s some good food made with love right there. ?I had a carne asada taco, bean tostado and mini churros. Everything was fresh and prepared right in front of me - even the corn tortillas! ?The owner apologized three times because she was making an order for another customer, and still I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Bravo! And delicious!Three stars for the atmosphere because I would love to see this place in its own building with more seating, but it works for now. It’s a unique place to start, and I hope it grows out of its current spot! ?“
