Had over an hour wait at discount tire so went next door for a drink while we waited for my truck. Owners and staff? Super cool…. Non judgy super welcoming. Totally what every neighborhood bar should be. Drinks were good and the gizzards were amazing. ❤️ We will see y’all again soon.

The Wheelhouse Tavern has a neighborhood dive bar feel. Even though it is a small place, it has plenty of seating and a band playing. The only complaint is that it closes early in comparison to other bars. The owners have done a fantastic job with a beat friendly vibe. Excellent service from bartenders and staff, it's clean. Good music and good pricing on their drinks. The small dance floor is nice, and there are high top tables to sit at. The food has changed, especially the hamburger. The fried Zucchini is amazing. The pot roast could be cut with a fork, with slow roasted carrots and potatoes. The Steamboat is a piece of bread topped in mashed potatoes and covered with thinly sliced roast beef, covered in beef gravy. The biscuits and gravy were great. The service is very friendly and fast. The bartender hustles for customers and mixes great drinks on the fly. Servers take care of the table and keep everyone in stitches while making sure all orders are correct. This place is a good find.
