The Horseshoe Reviews
Sad to have to say they are going down the tubes fast. The only reason why they will remain in business is because of the snowbirds and the fact that in Benson there's really no place good to eat
Horrible warm salad! Make sure and order dressing on the side mine was swimming in dressing. Didn’t know I had to order dressing on the side. Croutons were stale and soggy!
The owner was standing at the window screaming constantly at kitchen staff. We heard all of his fowl language to his staff!
Wait staff eating at the window but not washing hands before they serving food to customers. Health code violation for sure!
We waited for 45 minutes for our order. No one even...read full review

The Horseshoe is a cozy restaurant serving homemade breakfast and lunch dishes. The menu features large portions, including a side salad that can easily serve two people. The homemade bleu cheese dressing is a highlight. Breakfast options include yeast cinnamon rolls that are so good. The staff is polite and accommodating. The Horseshoe is a great stop for good home cooking. Customers found the green chilie scramble and coffee phenomenal, and the biscuits perfect. They were happily surprised with the taste of the food, including a burger and a fried chicken sandwich. The atmosphere and feel of the place were loved, with really great food. Servers were friendly and attentive, and prices were very reasonable. The Horseshoe offers multiple sandwiches and other menu items, like the honey mustard chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich had a very long, thin chicken breast covered in cheese, with a toasted brioche bun seared with a horseshoe imprint. Onion rings were hot and crispy. The restaurant gives off diner vibes, with black vinyl booths and wooden tables.
