Fun little place to stop in for a bit during a little rain storm! Live music, and just a quick drink
Came for nostalgia, stayed for the grilled cheese and emotional support pickles.
My Nana used to work here, so technically this is a family establishment and I expect partial ownership at this point. The grilled cheese? Life-changing. The pickles? Crunchy little legends. Rachel & Divine? Absolute icons—give them a raise, a crown, and possibly their own holiday.

Gene’s Place is a must-see bar with a great atmosphere, awesome drinks, and wonderful service. The grilled cheese is life-changing, out of this world, and the bomb, especially with the special pickle relish or pickle jam that elevates it so much. The pickles are crunchy little legends, and the pickle-tini is worth the stop in. The bartenders are fantastic, nice, and amazing, creating great vibes and providing great customer service, even making a birthday memorable with the best whiskey sour, bloody Mary, and white Russians. The place has so many retro items, including a working TV from 1957. On weeknights, local bands play and both were great. The drinks are liked, and the atmosphere is fun, with great music and service. The grilled cheese is a highlight, and the pickle jam is a topic of curiosity. Gene’s Place is one of the highlights of a visit to Bisbee, a fun place to visit, and definitely worth the trip for drinks and a great time.
