We LOVE the English Tea Room - our favorite place for us girls! Excellent friendly service and Jo is a delight. Remembers us, spends time visiting with us and always provides a lovely atmosphere, delicious food and great items to bring home! So thankful a true high tea experience is available to us in the desert southwest.

Delightful! Can't wait to go back. Reservations essential. We had to reserve 3 weeks in advance.

Hard to describe this GEM. The service impeccable, food was amazing, ambiance superb and the owner does an amazing job. I have been to many high end restaurants and none of them hold a candle to this wonderful tea house. If you go, do yourself a favor and have the whole

This is an hour and a half ride away so we had high expectations but would be reluctant to repeat the trip. The hostess was absent for at least 5 minutes while we asked other guests to snap pictures and returned the favor. (She was occupied unpacking big boxes and displaying tea pots through our meal. Could that task be done e before opening at 11 or after closing at 4 pm?)Ambiance is quite quaint, flowery and charming. Then we were seated at our reserved table with water already poured. Waitress explained daily specials and buzzed through $40 sampler that served two. The gluten free sandwiches and scone was served on the same tiered dish (so celiacs beware!) as regular food. Vegans: skip the creamy, buttery, mayo sampler. Keep in mind that you're a long way from the North Atlantic and don't expect to SEE salmon in your sandwich to distinguish it from chicken. Birthday tea was favored by our group. Soho “chocolate” tea was watery and awful. Pumpkin spice tea was ok. As questions arose our server was nowhere to be seen and didn't check back “after the first few bites”. When requested she refilled one glass but did not inquire or fill others. Overall, an ok experience but not exceptional.

Exquisite place to spend quality time with friends and family. Excellent tea selection and awesome scones to enjoy. Place with a character. Service was excellent and reservations went on time up to the exact minute.

The Tea Room is always my granddaughter's choice to celebrate her birthday. It was her 22nd and we really enjoyed our brunch, as always. This is a popular time of year and while we could only get outside seating, we were not disappointed. The weather was perfect and teatime was great!

This is our 5th year of celebrating our granddaughter's birthday here and we all look forward to the experience. The food is good and the staff are great. My mom is British so this restaurant holds a special place in my heart.

We had a lovely time at tea yesterday! Our table was outside on their beautiful patio where we were plenty warm on a somewhat chilly day. We shared 2 High Tea platters between four of us and each had a cup of delicious soup. The sandwiches and scones were so good! Bri, our server, was exceptionally delightful and added much warmth to our experience. We highly recommend an afternoon at the English Rose Tea Room.

Note: They book up weeks in advance. We ended up going hiking during our trip and the kids wanted MacDonalds afterwards. Friend exclaims "drop us off here! We're going to take a peek in the tea shop!" As luck would have it, there was a cancelation and the two of us were able to sit on the porch. Honestly I was slightly embarrassed that we were in workout gear, but we were welcomed and treated well. We got the "special" and the quiche which was also delicious. To those complaining - if you're sitting outside, the wind will dry the bread out - eat your tea sandwiches first, easy fix. Fun, clean, and beautiful place! We have plans to come back again.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. But they had a cancellation for 2 and seated us immediately within 1.5 hours of closing. I got the organic red vanilla and my partner got the earl grey - both were delicious. They serve their tea with loose leaves and you pour it through a strainer, which leaves more sediment than most - especially when you forget to put the strainer over your cup. The desserts were good, albeit on the sweeter side. The sandwiches were nice. The scone was sizeable and dry, but good with tea. Highly recommend for the aesthetics!

Compared to other tea places I have visited, the food was mediocre. It is a small, quaint spot with a cute atmosphere. Unfortunately, the table dining next to us was very loud. Our server was excellent, and the tea was good. If you are looking for a tea experience with an affordable price, I recommend it.

Lovely experience!!! Attended with my daughter and three-year-old granddaughter. The food was well presented and delicious. The children's selections were perfect! We are already planning our next visit ?
