Very fresh and tasty food here. I was blown away by the mesquite flavor of the chicken tacos. The Spanish rice also stands out; perfectly fluffy and tasty. The dining area is as clean as it is roomy.
Not really sure what to say here, this place was great when it opened but the food quality isn’t as good IMO. They got my order wrong anyway, the food was ok, but a small drink at almost $4? Two street size tacos and a tiny portion of rice and beans for $11? Nah. I’m not sure this affordable anymore.
Man, I love this place! Their carne asada is the best. I especially like it in a quesadilla. My son said those are the best tacos he’s had and he’s not wrong! If you buy a shirt and wear it in next time they’ll give you a free taco too! We’ve loved Backyard since the OG location in Mesa and are glad to see they’ve expanded to other locales. Keep it up. Your tacos are 🔥!
