This was honestly the best food!! We live an hour away and will surely come back here to eat. I have family coming in from the Midwest in a few months and out of ANY restaurant in Phoenix… this is a MUST!!!
I'm blown away by Chat Express - their dishes are absolutely perfect in terms of taste and freshness. The quality of their ingredients is top-notch, and the generous portion sizes are a bonus!

Chaat Express offers dishes that are absolutely perfect in terms of taste and freshness, with top-notch quality of ingredients and generous portion sizes. The food is delicious and a good option for authentic Indian dishes, with big portion sizes. The Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala are both delicious, and the garlic naan and sweet mango lassi are highly recommended. The mango lassi is a standout drink. From the chaat lineup doing chaotic little bursts of tangy personality, to richer, warmer comfort plates like saag and paneer, to louder, crunchier items like bhel puri and samosa, nothing behaves normally. The chutneys are not “condiments” so much as concentrated arguments for joy. There was also a spread of makki ki roti, paneer tikka, chicken tikka, and other staples. Everything was authentic indian north flavors, including mooli parantha, paneer parantha, chai and chole bhatura. The customer service is amazing, with attentive and friendly staff who explain the menu and offer great suggestions. The staff moves with calm energy, and the ambience is great. There can be extra wait times near the end of the meal if it picks up, but the food exists in the most unfairly delicious way possible.
