Absolutely love their food! Best hot dogs in the valley! I could only enjoy it a couple times a year before, so I was ecstatic when they opened this one right up the street. The only problem is that they don't seem to be getting the intended traffic, and it's having an impact. The service tends to be slow (lax), and the burgers have a tendency to be so greasy that the bottom bun is mascerated before you ever pick it up. Portillo's Chandler serves super food with a great interior, and the hot dogs are loved by many, reminding some of home back in Chicago. The best Italian Beef and hot dogs outside of Chicago, according to an expert, and the double cheeseburger was great. The chocolate cake is moist and tasty, and the fries are always fresh and crisp, better than McDonald's. However, the service tends to be slow, and the burgers have a tendency to be so greasy that the bottom bun is mascerated. One cashier shows no fine Portillo's personality, with no thank you or smile. The hot dog was just OK, with a stale bun and spare toppings, but the roast beef is worth trying. Despite these issues, the food is still worth it, and the fries could use some seasoning.
