Always great! Never disappointed, always fresh, hot and tasty. Service has never been bad either, always pleasant, prompt and helpful. Been quite a few times now and definitely impressed with everything I've had and my experiences there, dine in or to go. 5 ⭐ always.

I've only had the pleasure of trying a few things from the menu so far but Ive been very pleased so far. Only having had takeout I can't comment on the atmosphere yet but hope to visit in person soon.
the service was extremely lax / unprofessional. shockingly rude. we were ignored so much that all we ordered was an appetizer of potstickers (which were fine) and left money on the table. we went to the restaurant across the plaza which wasn’t much better but at least they waited on us.
The food is top notch and the service is fantastic!!

Have been several times. Service was lacking at the start but food was good. Service is now better but food was not good. Veggies were discolored, corn was stick and smelled like it was rotten. Server was very good about taking the corn away and gave a discount, I am afraid how my stomach would have felt had I eaten it. Several other veggies were slimy. Probably my last visit, unfortunately.

I really wanted to like this place. But there are so many issues. When you walk in it’s a kiosk thing, no person. Ok fine. Signed up. Then the girl just walked up and asked who was first… ok why did we sign up? They had only 1 server, which apparently was too much because we sat and waited for quite a while.
The water pitcher was crappy plastic with a snap lid. Very odd choice that gave “dollar store”.
Then when our food came - no instructions. No time approximations. Nothing. I didn’t really care about that part but with society the way it is - that’s a liability. Someone is going to get food poisoning or burn themselves and they’re going to get sued. For sure.
When the food came - it was actually really good - but one of the plates of meat was completely frozen solid. Since the server never came back to check we were almost done when he came to the table. I explained it was frozen and he said “yeah we prep it in the back and then put it in the box” - which… was a confusing statement considering I wasn’t inquiring about the process. I explained again it was frozen solid - he explained they prep it in the back (again). Third time was the charm. He left and said they’d make a different one. That took 20 minutes. We ended up just cooking it and taking it home.
The kids working there weren’t rude - they were just completely aloof. Zero people skills. Zero critical thinking skills or awareness. That combined with a company trying to save money on labor is not a good combination.
This location specifically is going to have a hard time staying open if they don’t address the service issues.

Changed menu. Awful. Bao have no meat. Appetizers were cold and asked to have main dish served after appetizers. He brought main dish during appetizers. Waiter was rude. Told us to eat it when we served it. This is the hot pot on gilbert and chandler. Waiter was threatening. And chef wanted to throw food at us. Corporate needs to fire people. We are long time customers. Scary place.

We found ourselves back at Top One again today, and it continues to be a place that just feels good to be at.
The miso soup had a noticeably clean, comforting quality to it—something about it just felt different in the best way. Sitting out on the patio added to the experience, especially after coming from an appointment with our dog, Mystique.
What really stood out were the small, thoughtful details. Without us even asking, our waiter brought out a water bowl for Mystique. That kind of awareness and care doesn’t go unnoticed.
It’s always the little things that elevate a place, and Top One continues to deliver a consistently positive experience.
Grateful for spots like this. We’ll definitely be back.

Order the Beef & broccoli. The steamed whote rice was undercooked. Still hard. The beef was definitely overcooked. Hard to eat through. Felt like a was chewing on a leather belt.
Walked in to pick up my order and it smelled awful. Horrible smell near the bathrooms.
This was my first time having Top One. There maybe other items that are worth trying but the beef and broccoli is definitely not it.

Q: Why did the hot pot break up with the broth?
A: It couldn't handle the heat.
Came here for Lunar New Year Day lunch. It had been dark and drizzling and hot pot sounded perfect.
The two of us ordered two mini hot pots but fair warning, I think one mini hot pot is enough for two people, especially if you order some sides. We ordered siu mai (frozen) and their house-made spicy wontons. For the hot pot, we got one with a sha cha based and the other with the house spice blend. I really liked the House Spice Blend.
Not a bad hot pot spot but I'm not sure I would be back given that there are other great places nearby that makes a good hot pot. Service here was attentive but sparse. The day we came, it seemed like there was only one server. I saw four people walk away after not being seated.
I wish this place much success.

A small but fantastic restaurant. We've been twice now and loved everything we have had. The basil chicken appetizer is my personal favorite and the lunch specials are well worth it. The main dishes are family size so plan accordingly. The lunch specials are a large amount of food and variety.
