Fabulous wine!! The wine art is phenomenal!! Grazing tray was awesome!! Flights were so fun! Our server was incredible!! Explained all the wines in detail!! Plus we bought a LOT of bottles so our flights were free! Super cool spur of the moment stop but worth it!!!!!

We had the BEST experience at this winery! Don’t be fooled by its location - it more than makes up for those more fancy rolling hills type ones. Amazing Service - big shoutout to Morgan. She’s the real MVP - she makes you feel so welcomed you feel like you’ve made a friend. Who happens to recommend the best wines! She was attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. Any wine she poured for us was outstanding. The four of us all agreed that this place truly was such an unforgettable experience and wed for sure come back any time we are in the area again! Wonderful spot to relax and enjoy smooth sips! Highly recommend!

If you’re used to Napa wines and find many Verde Valley wines underwhelming, this is the place to go.

This winery clearly understands and cares wine. They source grapes from areas in Arizona where viticulture actually succeeds, and they choose varieties that truly work in this climate.

The wines are well-made, properly structured, fruity with real body, and very expressive. When you swirl the glass, the wine’s beautiful fragrance rises from the glass even before you bring it close to your face.
The tasting room itself is simple, but this wine made me smile, purely because of its quality.

I have visited this tasting room many times and it never disappoints. We were just there last time and Morgan was pouring our wines. It was hard to pick a favorite because they are all very good but the top one ended up being the Sangiovese. Morgan was attentive, very knowledgeable and fun!

In our most recent visit to the Cottonwood and Clarkdale area, we decided to check some wineries we had not had the opportunity to visit or try in the past – and right on highway 89A and convenient in our travels was Chateau Tumbleweed Winery. We have been amazed… that the Southwest and especially the Verde Valley area has so many viticultural qualities that stand out. Being somewhat connoisseurs of good vino we’re always on the lookout for more extraordinary and delicious wines in Arizona. Wine enjoyment is very subjective, and our tastes may not reflect yours but what we have found here at the Chateau Tumbleweed Winery defines the regions wine eminence and potential. Of most the wines tried an overwhelming number we found to be of high quality. Their white, red, and rosé varieties are a refined sort, giving each a uniqueness that one can distinguish from other vintners. They have made a specific point of utilizing some of the best of the best vineyards across Arizona thereby designing their own distinctive approbation to their own product. Some our faves on our visit are the refined Cimmaron Vinyard Mourvèdre 2022, the pixelating Picford Blanc 2023, the refreshing Rex 2022 and the exhilarating Miss Sandy Jones 2023. We took some home! Miss Sandy, Mourvedre, Rose and Dos Amigos. Enjoying a few wine choices at their location is a relaxing, enjoyable and flavorful happening as they offer a calming and comforting outdoor patio area conducive to sipping and enjoying. If you’re wine connoisseurs like us, you will enjoy a pause here for some refreshing and enjoyable sips on the patio.
