Six of us met up here and all of the dishes were awesome! The brisket was super tender and nicely smoked. The ribs fell off the bone and had an out of this world rub. The setting is great - looking out on the desert and the patio heaters were great as it was a little chilly. Can't wait to go back for the live music and just hang out.
Oh my gosh what an amazing place! Absolutely best BBQ in the Southwest... Family run and oriented, excellent service just minutes south of I10 on Houghton. We highly recommend this East side gem!

I'm so sad to see that Blackhawk is closing. This was a great BBQ restaurant. The food is far better than the franchise outlets and even more, it was a social hub for the community. The open air patio was a wonderful place to meet and interact with others, which a more traditional restaurant lacks. While they had a full bar, it wasn't "A Bar" and was very, very family focused.
