$6 for a hot dog half the size of a Costco dog is highway robbery
We are from Chicago and this is like a taste from home! Awesome hot dog stand and Italian beefs. They also have pizza puffs! Vienna beef is the best! Yum
Being from the Midwest, my boyfriend and I love coming here! Jim is a funny, genuine guy who always makes our orders perfect! We’ve never had an issue with the staff as all of them are kind! Because of the great staff and the delicious food, we go at least once a week! Thank you for bringing a part of our hometown to Arizona! We love you guys!

Windy City Dogs offers a taste of authentic Chicago cuisine. Visitors praise the Italian Beef with sweet peppers, which they claim is really good, and the delicious loaded hot dogs. The Chicago Dog was really good, perfect even, and the hotdogs are absolutely delicious. Customers can even customize their hotdogs, with options like melted cheddar cheese and jalapeños. The chili cheese fries were good, though a small portion. The restaurant is known for great comfort food that reminds people of home, with good quality meats. The owner mentioned they've been here for 12 years. Parking is available, with lots of covered, regular, and handicapped spots.
Many customers find the food to be the best they have had since leaving Chicago, praising the Beef sandwich, hotdog, pizza puffs, and cheese fries as perfect. The Italian beef is often served with hot peppers, and drinks are all bottled, including Gatorade and Monsters, which is helpful on hot days at the park nearby. The location is small, with a few seats at a high top and one table, but most people prefer outside seating or takeout. Food is prepared quickly, and prices are fair. The Italian beef is made with bread that stays crispy and is served with Au Jus for dipping, which many say is their favorite. The hot dog is also highly recommended, with good peppers, crispy pickles, and fresh tomatoes. Customers often leave full and happy, eager to return. The food reminds many of Chicago’s neighborhood favorites, and repeat visits are common.
