We had an excellent dinner here on a Tuesday night. We ordered Top Sirloin and it was excellent!!! The vegetable was brussel sprouts and carrots and they were wonderful. So flavorful. The potatoes were also really good. The plate does not come with a salad but the sides were generous so not needed. Steak so tender and flavorful. Definitely coming back!

This place is very nice and decently priced. The staff is very caring and attentive. Even if you make it 30-45 mims before close. Our waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. Their mule was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly. Only complaint is that the mushrooms were burnt and it impacted the flavor of the stroganoff dish. Burger was one of the best my mans ever had and its his favorite meal choice. Solid 4. Would have been a near 5 if the mushrooms werent burnt. Would definitely come here again!

We were in a small private dining room, so it was cozy and quiet for our part of 5. Food was excellent as always, and the service is always wonderful. Our group has typically always had dinner at 1899 before the Flagstaff Symphony Concert on the NAU campus, and have never been disappointed by the meals or the service.

We had a good experience, although I thought the prices were a bit high for the food. If I had one thing to change it would be the lighting. It was very bright, similar to cafeteria lighting.

Food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was opposite of what I was imagining 1899 bar and grill to be like so don’t expect to be going back in time. It’s definitely worth a visit. Food is amazing.

Couldn't eat the salmon as it was raw, but please keep it in one piece as well. I got it added to my salad and they shredded it all over the top. I was turned off after seeing that, and that it wasn't cooked all the way through.

We enjoyed the live band and being on the patio. Their choice of songs had something for everyone . The noise level was not too loud to carry on a conversation. The service was good. I had the turkey pastrami and truffle fries. My husband had fish and chips. We thought the food was good. We shared a bottle of wine and a fruit crumble for dessert. I would recommend this restaurant and especially the group that provided the music, Funky Joe Squid.
I would pass on going. The food preparation and the service are just not up to a minimum level of quality.
