Pros: the food tasted really fresh and it was a very good tamale but not worth $8, and the horchata was good.
Cons: The vegetarian burrito was the size of a bean and cheese burrito from taco bell
the tortilla wasn't warmed up so was very dry
the filling was cold beans, rice and lettuce and cost $15 which is extremely expensive for what you got. you also have to get your own food from the counter and throw your own trash away and the chips were super stale I wouldn't come back, as much as I would like to support local businesses, I need more food than that.

My family & I have been coming here for years and we've always loved it. We recently ordered several family Platters for a party and all of our guests LOVED the food! The presentation was beautiful which made it easy for us to set out and not have to do a lot of set up. Plus the price was FANTASTIC!

My son got take out as we were leaving Flagstff, so we ate in the car. They were the best breakfast tacos we have ever had! Amazing!! The owner was very kind!!

Ok, I know my last name doesn't suggest it, but I am half Mexican and have deep roots into what mexican food should look like / taste like.
I got the macho burrito with steak. The flavor of the rice and beans (black) inside the burrito were great, the meat.... WELLLLLLL I wouldn't know. I paid 14 dollars for this burrito and likened to Chipotle, they stuff it with rice and beans to fill you up and there was sooooo little meat in the burrito that the rice and beans masked both the flavor and sustenance.
I don't mind paying $14 for a burrito but I need more than 10 cents worth of meat in it.
I cannot remember one time in our culture growing up or now where you weren't given a great portion with great flavor for half the price. I really hope the lack of meat in this burrito was without the owners knowledge or that would be a true embarrassment. I know I would be.
Anyway, I hope the owner sees this and makes a correction. I will be back within the next 2-3 months to try again, If I pay another $14 for rice and beans and (not kidding) 2 tablespoons of meat, I will change my rating to one star and ensure as many people in Flagstaff that I can tell, I will tell them to stay away.
I'm not trying to be rude but trying to get honest business people back into our community and to stop taking advantage of patrons. God Bless.

Best beef Taco in Flagstaff.
This place always delivers. I've been back in town for a few weeks after living elsewhere. We literally walked into Taco Bell as a coworker wanted it. Upon seeing a combo was $15!! I turned us around and went straight here. The daily lunch combo is less than $14 is a generous portion and delicious! In these weird times let's keep these local gems going!

Working great Mexican food. Oscar the owner, is personable. He makes sure your order is correct and your dining experience excellent! I felt like I was eating from Abuelita's kitchen!
