Came here with the in-laws visiting from out of state and they wanted good Mexican and we needed to come here. I shared the Mexican molcajete with my mother-in-law, and it was great layers of flavor, perfect heat, and wonderful chicken, steak, and chorizo with cheese and peppers and that great sauce. Perfection in food and service at reasonable prices. 1st time visitor at 3:00 PM on a Monday and the place was buzzing with many diners. That itself says a lot. Can hardly wait to return over and over. Also the restaurant is very nice authentic Mexican decor.
Had lunch today at the new Basha's Shopping Center location and it was fantastic! So happy El Tapatio opened an additional location in Flagstaff. Good service and big lunch portions--both our dishes were delicious, shredded pork burrito and ancho chili steak. Refried beans were absolutely authentic--we'll be back soon!
