Disappointing all round except the service was great. From the reviews and photos we were expecting a better experience. The decor is cute and the whole design is captivating but sadly everything is run down and a bit dingy. The food is really disappointing quality; the portions are large but not really good enough to want that much. Given it’s a diner, we weren’t expecting a great deal but we were regretting coming here given how many other great spots there are to eat in Flagstaff. The best thing we had was the chocolate milkshake. Bathrooms are scary, like a gas station. I would recommend this place if you really love 1950s stuff but otherwise there’s not really any reason to go here.

The Galaxy diner did not disappoint. It appears they built the road around the diner. It’s a bit of an odd curve on Route 66. He was so happy with the Liver and Onions and his fresh strawberry shake. The service was with a smile!

It’s a cute diner and we went here for dinner. Fast service and good food. He got the fish basket and I got the turkey platter. Maddie talked us into getting a milkshake as well. They have 100+ flavors to choose from, he got coffee and I got Orange Colada. The food and the shakes were both delicious. If nothing else, one here and get a milkshake!!!

Me and my party of 3 had an interesting time here on a Sunday afternoon. We really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant but were immediately turned off by rude staff. It took a while to get greeted, then only to have half requests ignored and feeling awkward and out of place for asking for simple things. When trying to get a milkshake menu, we got ignored several times and when we finally waved someone down she rudely stomped off then came back and threw the menus in our face (basically). The food was fine, typical diner food, but totally overpriced. Along with that, while we were there, the entire restaurant conveniently ran out of toilet paper and while overhearing other customers repeatedly ask for help with this, the staff simply shrugged back and said they were out. All that to say, the atmosphere was cute and appealing, but we will not be returning.

So I ordered a Turkey Avocado sandwich. It came ot a short time later. The waitress asked me if I needed anything else. No, I didnt. The sandwich looked good and then I realized there wasn't any avocado on it. After a few minutes I was able to get the server's attention. She hadn't noticed. She asked if I wanted her to take it and add the the avocado. I said yes. She came back shortly with the sandwich and said they just ran out of avocado. They gave me a discount. My issue isn't with the server, it is with kitchen/cook. Wouldn't you think they would let you know rather than sending it out and seeing if you notice???

We were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. It also looks great at night. I didn't find a ton of food options I would enjoy, personally, but I had an omelette and it was delicious.
Cute old school diner with great food...staff was overwhelmed on a surprise busy weekend but we still had good service and food came out in a decent amount of time despite having an overload of people there!

Just went in for Milk Shake and Hot Cocoa. Hot cocoa was a bit under the ratio of cocoa powder mix to Hot water. Requested the shakes to be made thick, but they were fairly thin and runny. Staff was great though!

Went today and was put in the side of the back entrance and was ready for our waitress to come back take our order but felt ignored and kept trying to get anyone attention but we walked out and from what we saw leaving was a few standing around and just talking to each other. Was a disappointment visit today.
