Amazing food and service

Great service and food! Amazed they had sea urchin/uni most area sushi places don't have on the menu! Will definitely being coming back if not just for that.

We loved dining here. Really good, punctual, friendly service. Sushi was also absolutely delicious! We got a lot of nigiri and it was so fresh and flavorful. Sushi rice is on the sweeter side, but that’s how I prefer it. Place was also very clean. Bathrooms were spotless! Smooth jazz was playing. Lovely atmosphere.

We didn't know that they close at 1:30 for lunch and we met at 1:20. We were completely rushed my friend's food was cold and she had to send it back

I love this place. It's never overly crowded and the menu is expansive and delicious. Staff are always cool as hell and they have a special, separate gluten free menu.

Great sushi and fast service. The only downside is the price. The sushi is good but for $20 a roll for most rolls... that ain't it chief. I would expect more for that price. The food IS good just the price doesn't seem fair.

Got takeout sashimi from the lunch special menu May 2025--4 pieces each of salmon, tuna and yellowtail. Was amazed by the portions. The fish was so fresh and buttery. Served with wasabi and a generous amount of ginger, as well as a garnish of seaweed and a couple of shiso leaves, miso soup, and a dish of rice. Great price especially compared to dinner prices here or anywhere else. Only open for lunch 11:30-1:30 then closes and reopens at 5:00pm for dinner. A gem in a landlocked state up on a mountain.

Friends made a spontaneous decision to go to this restaurant, without asking some of our group.
So, that didn't start off well.
Although the food was good, the waitress made a mistake, ordering the wrong dish, which cost over $5 more than what I ordered.
It was like pulling teeth to get her and the owner to correct the price, after she blamed me for her mistake.
I much prefer Go Sushi, which has a great selection, larger portions and better prices. Their diner makes it easy to feel comfortable for casual attire, too.

This time she ordered an assortment of sashimi that included salmon, yellow tail and others. I enjoyed their pork tonkatsu over cabbage, white rice and a side salad. All very well prepared. Our waitress was super nice. TY :)

For way deep inland, sushi is great!

Parking: It is just a nice place. You may have to travel all the way to Japan to beat this place.

I honestly love it here! I love the selection of rolls, the green tea is fantastic and traditional with brown rice. I live out of town now, and I took my work friends here after a massage for a fun little day trip, and they loved it too! I hope that this place stays in business for a long time! I've been going to this place since 2012 and it's still just as good as ever, I just haven't reviewed until now. The diamond roll salmon lovers, and hakuna tataki and las vegas were a favorite for this visit and of course, the good ol' bento boxes
