I was there with my daughter who is attending NAU. The total on my receipt was not the total “cashier U” told me. After I sat down with my coffee I saw that I was overcharged and there was an automatic 20% tip added on the IPad when I tapped my debit card. After seeing this and not agreeing to the amount of the tip, I went back up to the register to return some items and asked for the tip to be returned. I will also add that while I am generally a 20-35% tipper; it is something I choose to do with amazing service. It is an entirely different story when it’s being stolen from me from an establishment. “Cashier U” did “return” the money and I asked for a copy of the new receipt. However upon returning home and checking my bank account, the original amount was debited. Not only did I return some items; but still in the end was charged for them. I have tried calling, with zero success. Buyer beware; this place will steal tip money off your card if you are not paying attention at checkout. My lesson was learned sadly for trusting the cashier, and when visiting my daughter I will choose to attend and patron other coffee establishments.

Excellent atmosphere. Perfect outdoor seating. Very mid coffee. Got an Americano and it was a little better than Folgers or what you'd get at Denny's. The shop itself is fantastic and I bet their specialty espresso drinks are great but if you like robust dynamic black coffee, there are better shops.

I really shouldn't judge based on one experience but part of it was the attitude of the clerk, not the barista. I really don't mind if you're having an off day or have a sullen disposition in general but if that's the case, it better be an excellent cup of coffee. But like I said, I will definitely stop by in the future and try again and I really appreciate your response! It shows you care and as a small business owner myself, that is everything. Just changed the review from 3 to 4 and specifically under service from 3 to 5. I appreciate you and will give a full five when I come back and have an amazing Americano

The CUTEST coffee shop. I will say that I’ve had better speciality coffee but the atmosphere makes up for it. It has the most beautiful back outdoor patio that I could’ve spent hours in. Also a great downtown location so you can walk around afterwards!

This coffee shop left me speechless with the blackberry white chocolate latte 🤤 If i could go here everyday to get this fix i would! The service was also great! Definitely recommend 💞

Slow staff who could care less. Full shop and the staff just joke and move slow. Coffees ok and food is subpar. Don't bother - go up the hill to Kickstand. We've been coming here since it moved into the space downtown and it's not worth it any more.

Coffee was delicious, coffee cake wasn't low quality junk full of sugar and preservative from US Food. Staff spend more time chitchatting rather than speed up the service so the line to the back of the store moves faster.
Just keep walking. My husband and I were both very disappointed with our drinks (latte and cortado). We ended up pouring them out on our walk home- they weren’t worth finishing. The barista was rude and condescending.

Beware! Coffee is mostly all foam, and when we order it puts an automatic 25% tip to every order. We tried making adjustments but the POS wasn’t working so they said… very unethical. After years of coming here it will probably be a last for us
