I’ve been coming here for literal years. This place was my childhood, but something must’ve happened during Covid other than expanding the place because the food just isn’t as good. Maybe there’s less salt? Not sure. I think portions are also smaller. Either way, I haven’t gone here in a year or so now because the other restaurants in Flagstaff are better. I get lunch here all the time and it's always clean, speedy, and delicious. Most of the employees recognize me by now and know I want extra hot sauce. Family owned and very sweet people.
I ordered chips and guacamole and I got these soggy chips with a diluted avocado sauce. Very, very disappointing. I also ordered the combo plate with one cheese enchilada and one bean tostada. It looks like a bite was taken out of my soggy tostada. It was delivered like this over top of the enchilada.
The beans and the rice were pretty tasty though. And service was fast.
