My Aunt and Uncle frequented the Monte V while going to NAU in the early 60s. This small and cozy hang spot has an inviting laid-back vibe. A must when in Flagstaff for a chat with their friendly bartender and an adult beverage.

We have been coming to Flagstaff for the Pine Cone Drop, 6 years now. We usually stay at the newer hotels and drive to downtown for the entertainment. We love the lounge here and the Lotus Lounge is just next door. We called 6 months ago to get a room and table as they are always sold out and booked.So, plan ahead and have an amazing time. Deeeckhead bartender(kept talking rudely, and also about himself) would not recommend. Horrible bar even for south west standards. Bad food. Bad vibes. Bad drinks. 0/10.

It was Great to find this place Open, and Happening, on a Sunday Night !!Excellent Service, and Booze, and Beer selection.
Stay clear! Booked a one night stay with them for October back in June and paid the full amount in advance. As my travel plans changed, I cancelled the reservation in July in line with their free cancellation policy. To this day I’m waiting for my refund. The hotel never responded to my emails and I now had to raise a dispute through my bank. Seems like this place is run by scammers, so beware!

This is an old bldg with no ac. If you try to open a window, you may just cut your hand off. There is a bar AND nightclub below the rooms. Karaoke or a live band will play until 2am. I hated it and left after two hours.

I ended up here with a large group of friends earlier in the week - we had been out for quite a while and were told by someone at a previous bar this place had karaoke - unfortunately, that night, it did not. We ordered a ton of vodka sodas, a few green tea shots, and on a dare, I tried the whiskey pickle. Let me say this - unless you're dared, probably don't do it. It was fun, but there wasn't much in the way of music - definitely inexpensive though, and even though I had to hike up and down several flights of stairs to use the bathroom, it was a great spot! Would recommend
