We made it here on our way from antelope canyon to Phoenix. We were starving after a long day of activities and were so happy to find food for the both of us. I was grateful to them for having vegan cheese! We got the very veggie with vegan cheese and the hot honey drizzle and the meat pizza. We also got the cauliflower (I think it’s called caulifire). Came here in the evening to get some pizza and wings. The pizza was by the slice pizza has been set out for a little bit that we warmed it in the oven. Pizza was good even though it wasn’t fresh. The wings were awesome. I got the sweet hot and that was pretty good. Spent about $15 for this meal. Usually, I come in to get a fresh pizza and that’s always the best in town.
Flagstaff is where we spend the night on our way to and from the West Coast. Other than the need for sleep, one tasty reason to stop is NiMarcos Pizza on N Kaspar.
We grew up on NY Pizza and once you head west, the pizza often bears no resemblance to what we consider pizza. NiMarcos is the exception. First and foremost, these folks have developed a great pizza sauce. While it’s not exactly NY, it has a Southwest flair that stands on its own.
