Absolutely an amazing place to visit and have a drink. Wonderful management and bar staff, there security however doesn't understand his job details. Let me walk in and out the front door multiple times, then around nine pm decided he wanted to check my ID. Told me it wasn't a real ID, and wouldn't let me back in to pay my tab. Then get told to lower my voice. Sweetie, if you didn't want me to get loud, then your SECURITY should have never let me out the front door the multitude of times I went out before he decided to check my ID. HIRE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB! Seeing how I have been certified in 17 of the 48 states to serve in, if it is illegal to have Alcohol on the side walk in Flagstaff then he should have never let me out in the first place, then to not let me back in to pay my tab seriously get you someone who knows their job. What needs to be done, he needs to be let go. Cause y'all don't need that kind of liability. Ma and pa owned businesses can't afford liabilities such as what he allowed to happen. Not only does that make you look bad, it puts you in a position of a potential lawsuit, if not the guest, but the state. He needs repercussions to his actions. Then lying to management on top of provoking a guest. Yeah.... nah that kinda behavior don't fly in my book. That just sets the tone for a toxic environment. He clearly has had a bad day, can't separate personal life from work life, so he's looking for a fight. Any reason to blow off steam. Not thw kinda guy you want around your bar.

Great drinks and really cool bar but the service is always weird. Usually really slow even on a week day. The bartenders don’t acknowledge you for a while and once they do it takes longer to get a drink than any other bar in town. I loved Rendezvous but it’s getting really hard to come back.

avery was the best bartender I have ever had in my entire life. hearing he was fired sent me into a spiral, I relapsed on methamphetamine because I was so upset. I am now going to boycott rendezvous until they bring avery back. FREE AVERY!!!

**Owners check the cameras around thirty to forty five minutes before the ball drop. Back bar across from dance floor. Watch the bartender. Watch the people around us. Watch their reactions. You will even see a random customer walk up and tell the bouncer that bartender was tripping.**
My brother and I just moved here from the East Coast and this bar was recommended to us. We went out on New Year’s Eve and came here twice. The first time was great. Good vibe, good energy, no issues at all. We left to check out other bars and quickly realized the lines were ridiculous, so we came back.
When we returned my brother went to the back bar near the dance floor to grab drinks. We waited close to thirty minutes for a beer which is understandable on New Year’s Eve. When the bartender finally served him my brother calmly said the people to our left had been there before us. That is basic courtesy and something people do all the time. Nobody was rude. Nobody was aggressive.
When she came back with my Red Bull she muttered something under her breath. My brother is a military veteran with hearing damage so he asked what she said before tipping. The people next to us told us she said I do not tell you how to do your job do not tell me how to do mine.
A minute later she came back and straight up yelled at my brother saying the same thing. Yelled. Over nothing. He then yelled nobody told you how to do your job which is a completely fair response when a grown man is being screamed at. She then power tripped grabbed the beers he had just paid for and walked away.
The guy next to us was so shocked by what he saw that he handed my brother his own beer because the situation was insane. As we walked away another employee pointed us out to the bouncer and had us kicked out. The bouncer was cool and clearly understood what happened but once staff says someone has to go that is it.
In the end, my brother had the beers he paid for taken the beer given to him taken and then we were removed from the bar. We have never been kicked out of a bar in our lives.
We liked this place but that was completely out of control. A first night in a new town and a military veteran gets yelled at robbed of drinks and kicked out because a bartender could not handle being told something normal. New Year’s Eve is stressful but if someone cannot control themselves they should not be in the service industry. That was embarrassing and unacceptable.

I’m a lifetime local, I own multiple businesses in Flagstaff and had to watch this business fall apart.
