Bobby was our chef and we loved him. The food he prepared was excellent. Best fried rice we've ever had!

We stayed at the hotel after an 8 hour drive so we when to go have dinner at the Sakura. While the host was in the phone she was not able to multitask to tell us to wait on her so an angry server came to “help us” while she telling us that we had to wait for the hostess which that is exactly what we were doing. She had terrible attitude about the whole situation that I wolf my boyfriends let’s just go find something else and she stated that will be beautiful is you guys do. The place has great reviews but the service is terrible and is too bad that for some terrible employee it makes the whole experience bad.

We've been coming to Sakura in Flagstaff for years during our annual visits to Arizona. It's still a very good choice, kids friendly and all ages welcome. We wanted a 6:30 reservation, open table said nothing available so we came at 5:30 (6:00 not available either). Restaurant (meaning Teppanyaki tables) was just filling up when we left ~7pm.

7pm reservation wasn't sat until 7:30. Didn't get to eat until 8pm. Ordered sushi appetizer, came out after the teppan grill entree was served and grill had already been cleaned by the chef. The grill chef was entertaining and that's about it. I would recommend jimmy johns sandwiches over this spot.

The freshest and best quality sushi in Flag! Flagstaff roll was my personal favorite! Service was exceptional! If you can swing the cost I suggest trying the Arizona prickly pear saki!

It was the first time there for us. We are local, so we will be returning. Fun place, food was good and service was excellent. It's a bit pricey, but very much worth it in our opinion.

I went in for my first time really excited to try the sushi and get a drink we were able to get seated quickly but no one came to serve us didn't even get a water some other couple came to sit and they where served instantly. And yet we still didn't get any service..... I wish I got to try the food .

First off, we had a reservation. We arrived and were crammed at a table with another family with 2 more people than there should have been sat at the teppanyaki table. We immediately expressed our dissatisfaction upon being seated in that we felt too crammed. My husband literally was hanging off the side. They told us there was nothing they could do. This just made for an uncomfortable dinner from the start. While the sushi was pretty good, the Teppanyaki was mediocre at best. The food had the taste of a dirty towel. My guess is from the towels they use to clean the grills when they are done. Our chef this was super nice and friendly.

The prices are high but didn't mind that what was shocking was the service fees that were on the bill. we gave the cook a cash tip and had planed to tip on the total bill also but when it came there were 2 18% service fees automatically Included. so we paid 38% plus the cash tip. the server Was non existent . We waited for 30 min after everyone at the table was done to get boxes and the bill. The chef was average at best did alot of fire but really didn't do much more of a show
