Food was great as usual, but this is 2nd time in last few months where they didn't apply the Military Retired discount after I asked them to. It was takeout both times and I don't drive 10 miles back to restaurant.
Attempting to beat the heat from Phoenix we came up to Flagstaff where it was almost equally hot. Met up with some friends at salsa bravo, which made the day better. Pineapple salsa and friendship. We were there for 2 1/2 hours visiting.
I'm giving three stars only because of the mandatory 4% service fee added to all checks. I asked my server if the amount went directly to him and he said no, it goes to the restaurant. I really have a problem with this type of thing and it's deceptive if it doesn't go directly to the staff.
Otherwise, the margarita, chips and salsa, and stuffed sopapilla were pretty good. Service was excellent and deserved a full tip above the required service...
