I stopped by The Northern Pines Restaurant and had a decent experience. The food was okay, nothing spectacular but it hit the spot. The service was friendly and attentive, our server was knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Overall, it was a solid choice for a casual meal out. I'd consider going back to try some different menu items.
Food here was fine. I had salmon which was OK but a bit overcooked. My wife had the ribs which didn't meet our tastes for ribs. We like more bite to the ribs and a much less sweet BBQ sauce.
Portions were fair, and the service was good.
The real annoyance was a 12% (!!) adder due to the new min wage law passed in Flagstaff. Either change your prices or (less preferred) add a realistic adder. 12% is a pure money grab using the new law as an excuse. ...

Not much for views from here, but both the food and service were top notch!!
The turkey club was grilled to perfection and I’ll be getting it again the next time I’m rolling through town.
Decent selection of local beers.
