My teens and I enjoyed this unique spot for breakfast - especially the breakfast potatoes and cinnamon roll. The serving sizes were large and not terribly overpriced for a small town. One pancake is more than enough! The service was speedy yet friendly.
We tried The Toasted Owl for the first time. My first impression of the host wasn't great—it felt a little forced, and after seating us they walked away without saying anything else. Thankfully, our server, Alma, was excellent. She took our drink order within about 3 minutes, checked on us, and provided great service throughout our visit. We love the one in Phoenix, so we were excited to see there was one here. We didn't feel the same experience at this location. They advertise that everything is for sale, which explains the quirkiness, but in a good way. It did take quite some time to get our food. Once we received our meals, they were a bit cold. The food had flavor, which is why it was sad that they weren't served hot.
