We surprised my dad with a 70th birthday party - we rented out Zane Grey and the balcony for about 90 people. It was fantastic! From pre-planning to the day of the event, Kim and her staff coordinated and handled everything efficiently and professionally. Our guests loved the food (especially the Swedish meatballs), and we've always loved the drinks here.

I highly recommend hosting an event here!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Zane Gray Bar, Ballroom and Balcony @ the Hotel Weatherford on Saturday, June 1, 2024. We have been dating for over eight years, and are both longtime Flagstaff natives. It was important that we celebrated our marriage in a place that exudes the heart of Flagstaff. The Hotel Weatherford has always been a part of that for us, and your team far exceeded our expectations. We simply couldn't be happier with our experience.

Throughout the day, the Hotel Weatherford staff went well out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. They took care of a handful of requests (ranging from filling the ice bucket to bringing a chair up for my hairdresser) throughout the day in the hotel room. Staff accommodated our requests with urgency, and displayed a pleasant demeanor throughout the day.

Hotel Weatherford staff supported planning of our reception; they provided complete clarity on what we should expect, how much to budget for, and what was expected of us. Estimates were spot on, and the entire evening went off without a hitch.

The event team far exceeded our expectations during the reception in more ways than I am able to convey in words. Every member of the event team was incredibly helpful, courteous, welcoming, and energetic. We wanted our wedding reception to feel like a wonderful and fun celebration for our friends; mission absolutely accomplished! Many of our guests have commented on what a beautiful evening it was, and how excellent your staff was! The food was great, drinks were poured with urgency, and every member of the staff exuded a sense of dedication to making our evening exceptionally special. As I noted above, we could not be happier with this experience, and would not change a single thing. I would be remiss not to mention: Kim was present for the entire reception, even with a hurt toe; that is true commitment to excellence!

We will absolutely recommend our friends and family choose Charly's and/or the Weatherford Hotel for cocktails, dining and/or hotel needs in the future. As a Flagstaff local of over 40 years, it warms my heart to know we have people in this community who care so deeply about doing an exceptional job. Kudos over and over! Thank you all again for such an exceptional experience. Consider us lifelong patrons of the Hotel Weatherford and Zane Gray...

We held our wedding after part here at the Zane Grey, and everything was absolutely perfect. We had ordered some food to be served for our guests, all of which was delicious. The service team handling everyone's orders and providing excellent and quick service was a great benefit of this location as well. The atmosphere itself was the perfect place for us to finish off our celebration. There was plenty of room to dance for those of us who still had energy, while others were able to relax and chat and still be fully engaged with the rest of the party.Kim did an absolutely exceptional job with all of the planning for the event. She regularly stayed in touch and made sure we were able to plan everything we wanted to, helped us create a unique and fun experience that will be remembered forever, and allowed us to curate the services offered that best fit our budget and needs.10/10 experience, cant wait to host and attend events here in the future.

Fantastic venue for our wedding rehearsal! We got married at Aldea and had our wedding rehearsal lunch here, it was perfect. We used the Zane Grey Ballroom, our party was 35 and it was perfect. The balcony is gorgeous for pictures and to hang out with friends, the views are stunning. The bar upstairs is super neat and all the staff very friendly. Kim Ward did all the reservations and worked with us via zoom and phone calls since we were from out of state, she was very professional and executed things perfectly. All the food was incredible and it was all prepared and ready exactly on time. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an event!

My husband and I had our reception here (about 75 people) and it was just lovely. The staff were great and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time and we were even given a suite for the night, which was so cute we loved it. If you have a small reception for your wedding planned, I highly recommend the weatherford as a venue.

We hosted a 40-45 person party at the Weatherford and it was wonderful. We rented the bar, ballroom and balcony and had a fantastic time. The space has historic charm and the location can't be beat in downtown Flagstaff. Pricing for the space and food and beverage is very reasonable and Kim (events manager) is super helpful and was great to work with. Would recommend Zane Grey for anyone looking to host an event!

We held our wedding reception at the Weatherford Hotel on September 10, 2023. We chose this hotel because of its historic history. It was a great location for our event. The staff was attentive to all the guest needs, the food was terrific, the drinks were delicious, just a great place to hold the event. We chose prime rib and chicken cordon bleu, and everybody loved the meal. I wouldn’t hesitate to hold another event at the Weatherford.

Came for the ghost stories, stayed for the excellent espresso martinis and great conversations. Jacob was a wonderful bartender! He took great care of everyone when it got crowded, and his Spotify playlist is on point. Will definitely make a point of coming here again next time I'm in town.

We had our wedding in the Zane Grey and Balcony. After many changes of what we wanted our wedding to look like we kept coming back to the Weatherford Hotel. Kim was so amazing, and helped us answer questions that we didn’t even think of. Tony was a great bartender, even tended to the kids very kindly. The night was flawless and food was great! Everyone is still talking about that month later. We would relive our special night again and again! Thank you, thank you!
