“Update Feb 2026. Still a solid 5 stars. Thought we were arriving early for lunch this morning but we got caught between customers having a late breakfast and the early lunch crowd. There was a wait list. We were fifth on the list but it went quickly - took about 10 minutes. I had the open face beef with mashed potatoes and deep savory brown gravy and my wife had the chicken fried steak. Delicious. Large portions. Excellent value. More pics attached.
First time here. Lunch. Outstanding! Large wait staff. Friendly and helpful. No waiting. Seat yourself. Large clean and bright. Daily specials. My wife had the chicken fried steak and I had liver and onions. Lunch entree items come with your choice of TWO sides. I had mashed potatoes with brown gravy and fried okra. Delicious. My wife had a salad and also the fried okra. Excellent value. Everyone loves great value. Photos attached. We will eat here again. And will bring friends.“

“We always go out of our way to stop here on our way from Tubac to chandler to visit family. The sandwiches are always delicious. The best we’ve ever had anywhere and so full!!! Very generous portions!! And the prices SO reasonable!!!“
