Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon, nice crowd, had the cottage pie, slice of apple tart and a bottle of beer, Landman style (Michelob Ultra), the food was great, felt like a real bit of home here in the desert
We were greeted at the door by the Irish owner and immediately made welcome. We went for the daily special of the smashburger along with fish and chips. There was malt vinegar available in the condiments which is essential for a good fish and chips. The food came out quickly and we split both plates. The fish was had chunky pieces of white fish, the burger covered in lettuce, onion, tomato and pickle which you can leave off if you prefer. The landlady was very frustrating enjoy...
Good food and the service was great considering there was one lady running everything. However, I would probably not go back because of the funky smell. The place needs a deep clean.
