“The food was exceptional! We began with prawns and ahi tuna as appetizers. Then we ordered a ribeye steak, macaroni and cheese along with asparagus. All cooked to perfection!”

“First time visit to this buffet. Atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant. Was greeted with a smile and welcome by everyone working there. Our server was very friendly and attentive, always kept our table clear and refills filled. Being a casino buffet & frequented many in Las Vegas we were skeptical about the quality of the food being served. Read many of the reviews and had high hopes after reading so we decided to travel to the casino from across town and try the buffet. We were not disappointed, the meats were cooked perfectly, not dry, not burnt, but delicious and flavorful. We sampled food from each station: American bbq, Mexican and Asian. All of which tasted wonderful. The desert selection was incredible, should have started with desert as each one we sampled was that delicious. Highly recommend eating here, we definitely will be back.”

“The place is quite decent. Just was there and they have raised their prices. I find it no longer worth it to eat there. I think their new prices are out of line so I will be going somewhere else. I really think they do not care since they are very busy and also do a big bar business.. I just don’t like being ripped off. There are better choice in the surrounding area.”

“We have to say this was our first time visiting under new ownership and we were not disappointed! WHOA! Adam has taken it way beyond what it used to be under former management and by leaps and bounds! The ambiance is wonderful with a feeling of first class dining in every way; lovely views in a cozy setting, table cloths adding class to each, beautiful special menus and a kind welcoming staff. We chose to sit inside which we thoroughly enjoyed. Tables didn’t feel cramped so we felt like we were there alone, enjoying one another's company, and our server was a little sweetie, Jocelyn, who took very good care of us without making us feel encroached, and the cuisine was a super nice surprise. To start, we had the Calamari and Caesar Salad which were both amazing. For entrees, my husband had a tender Rib-eye Steak cooked medium rare and I had the cooked-to-perfection Halibut in a lovely lemon butter cream sauce that oh my word, was SO GOOD I will need to have it again when we return! We chose not to indulge in dessert as we are both trying to lose weight, but a strong desire was there since they are home made and look divine! Thank you Adam et al for a night we won’t soon forget and will share with others as it’s a definite gem of Fountain Hills . . . a place you won’t want to miss if you’re visiting OR living here! As my husband said, we're ready to go back!”

“Just had a hiking group stop by Phil's after a couple loops around the fountain. I had the sliders which were excellent and my wife got a Julienne salad which was huge. Everyone had positive feedback on their lunches & service. I always stop in while vacationing here from Michigan and I'm never disappointed. Thanks Phil & staff for ALL you do.”

“THE APP DIDN'T WORK! When I went to pay for my order online, the app had literally taken all of my customizations off the order. I didn't realize this until I got to the store and the pizza made was the wrong kind of pizza. The staff were so nice about it and not only refunded my money but made a whole new pizza the way I had originally ordered it.”

“Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. We were driving home to Gilbert from Payson and decided to make a pit stop for lunch in Fountain Hills. Sushi sounded like the perfect cuisine after a day of strenuous hiking. First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous. Painted cement floors, large comfy booths, not to mention the beautiful artificial Bonsai tree in the center of the restaurant. Like another reviewer said, I'm not much on fake plants, but this was a nice touch and not too tacky. The service was pretty good, our server Emily checked in on us quite a bit. However, the best part of the experience was the food. I started with the Baked Scallop Dynamite Roll, which was phenomenal. My Dad loved his Lunch Fried Rice with Chicken as well. Surprisingly, the Miso Soup and House Salad we had on the side was delicious as well. Especially that salad, the dressing was to die for. Enough said, we'll be back to Oka for sure.”
