“Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. We were driving home to Gilbert from Payson and decided to make a pit stop for lunch in Fountain Hills. Sushi sounded like the perfect cuisine after a day of strenuous hiking. First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous. Painted cement floors, large comfy booths, not to mention the beautiful artificial Bonsai tree in the center of the restaurant. Like another reviewer said, I'm not much on fake plants, but this was a nice touch and not too tacky. The service was pretty good, our server Emily checked in on us quite a bit. However, the best part of the experience was the food. I started with the Baked Scallop Dynamite Roll, which was phenomenal. My Dad loved his Lunch Fried Rice with Chicken as well. Surprisingly, the Miso Soup and House Salad we had on the side was delicious as well. Especially that salad, the dressing was to die for. Enough said, we'll be back to Oka for sure.“

“Just had a hiking group stop by Phil's after a couple loops around the fountain. I had the sliders which were excellent and my wife got a Julienne salad which was huge. Everyone had positive feedback on their lunches & service. I always stop in while vacationing here from Michigan and I'm never disappointed. Thanks Phil & staff for ALL you do.“

“While I’m very glad to have a Dutch Bros in Fountain Hills I must admit, this is an interesting choice for a location. Dutch Bros famously has a youthful atmosphere. Current top 40 hits always playing, bright colors, lots of options of sweet caffeinated drinks, and top notch friendly and extroverted service. I’ve lived in Fountain Hills almost my entire life and love it but ‘youthful’ would not be one of the first words I would use to describe it.I watched a very interesting interaction with an older customer accosting the staff that their K Cup make at home coffee was not up to her standards. This was an almost ten minute interaction where they were happy and quick to give her a refund and offer her a free drink in between her lengthy and unkind words. They made her feel heard, spoke to her very gently, and she left thanking them. They also gave me a free drink in between taking care of her.I fully intend to be frequently going to this location for the great coffee and customer service.“

“The selection of bagels and toppings is vast, so you can get exactly what you want. The servers are attentive, friendly and helpful. And they make hands-down the best bagels anywhere in the northeast of the Valley of the Sun. We don't buy bagels anywhere else.\n\nThere is seating inside and on the outside patio.“

“A sweet treat spot worth visiting!
I recently stopped by OYO Frozen Yogurt in Fountain Hills and had such a great experience! The shop is clean, well-lit, and super welcoming. I loved how many flavor options they had—everything from the classics to fun seasonal picks. The self-serve concept is fun and lets you get creative with toppings, which are fresh and plentiful.
The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining how everything worked, and they were quick to assist at checkout. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes—definitely a good treat after a hike or a hot day in Arizona.
I’d absolutely recommend OYO to anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth with something cool and customizable. I’ll be back!“

“Very good, authentic, Mexican food! The new app is wonderful for ordering ahead and earning rewards for discounts.
Update 05-12-25: I discovered one is unable to earn points via the app with a QR code when ordering in person. At least that was my experience in Fountain Hills.“

“Oh, yeah! Gotta check this place out. Top marks. The variety and taste of their beers, knowledge and friendliness of their servers, and unique and on-point theme of Bone Haus makes this one of the top overall breweries to visit in Arizona.
Three different pilsners (German, New Zealand, and West Coast) that individually all nail it is a rarity. Some Oktoberfest kegs still had some life in them, the marzen and festbier, both of which also hit like they're supposed to. There were more full-bodied and dark beers, too. Geez, these folks are killing it.
Bar service was off-the-charts friendly, even if you're the one out-of-state brewery tourist in the middle of a crowd of locals. Does Sam the Bartender know and speak the names of each local as they come and go? Dude's good, you guys. Didn't catch the name of the younger bartender, but his friendliness game was on par with Sam. Both these gents knew their beers, and gladly shared their wisdom along with history and stories about the brewery, Arizona, and of course lost treasure.
Parking's easy and the place was easy to find. Excellent signage out front that probably would have looked even more impressive at night. Local, small size. Some patio seating, a few interior 4-tops, and a handful of barstool seats at the bar are available. Locals and bartenders were all in a chatter about upcoming live music and food trucks, so these folks are genuinely doing everything right. Vibe-wise, Bone Haus is all-in on their brand and theme, namely skulls, death, cemeteries, and Arizona history mixed with folklore. It feels like 'Red Dead Redemption' meets 'Coco.' It's all sort of awesome there. It's almost like going to a theme park, but for beer and more macabre.
Patronize these folks. A lot, if you're smart.“
