I very rarely write reviews about places but Handels Ice Cream blew my mind. The ice cream is spectacular and the service was out of this world!! I went in last night around 8:30, there was quite a wait but it was absolutely worth it! Please note that I am 68 years of age and hard of hearing, loud places don’t usually go well for me and are quite stressful, but that was not the experience I had last night! I got served by a teenager girl with blond hair and nose piercings, she was incredibly kind and helpful while explaining all the flavors and what kind of sundaes you have and their costs. Her kindness and patience made my Handels experience one of a kind and I will definitely be going again! Please keep hiring kind hearts like hers! Handels is a spectacular ice cream joint with amazing ice cream and team members. Would highly suggest visiting.

The service was great. They were definitely in the middle of a shift change or short staffed because we waited quite a while behind a family of 3kids 2parents in front of us (not that they were taking too long) but the employees seemed a little all over the place and couldn't just focus on helping them and moving onto the next. My child and I patiently waited as the line tripled or maybe even quadrupled but once we received assistance with our ice cream cones, it was smooth sailing.

This was a fun after dinner stop for our group this weekend. They have similar flavors to other Handel's locations and a similar setup. There was a long line when we got there around 9pm, be prepared for it to take a bit to get up to order. The ice cream was delicious - we got graham cracker and it was butterscotchy magic. The portions here were noticably smaller than other locations we've been to, so keep that in mind if you've been to other Handel's. Still a favorite ice cream chain for us!

Loved the homemade ice cream. It's richer and creamier than commercially made mass produced.Get the 4-flavor sampler. If they have the Raspberry chocolate chunk get a pint of it! None of the flavors are bad. Our favorites besides the Raspberry were coconut almond and chocolate chocolate chunk.Service was friendly and fast.

Nothing like a little sweet valentines day treat! My husband and I took our niece here, post a little valentine's day date. I love some ice cream and had yet been to Handel's before, so was excited to check out a new spot. This large ice cream shop features a one way entrance, that leads you through their line, up to the counter where you order, pay and then a one way exit! I am sure it's to keep things efficient and moving, as the line moved seamlessly and they got out ice cream quickly. They have two menu's one above the large bar where you order and another along the wall, so basically no matter which way you are looking, you can check out your options! They had a ton of different flavors, a couple speciality sundaes, homemade ice cream sandwiches, a few seasonal ice creams and shakes and malts. Waffle and sugar cones, some dipped in chocolate and with sprinkles, as well as waffle bowls. My niece opted for a strawberry cone and they did not mess around. This small size came with three massive scoops. My husband I shared a malt with their cookie dough and oreo ice cream. I don't tend to love strawberry ice cream, but it very good, considering. We enjoyed our malt as well! The malt only came in one size, so no options there, but I think it was a 20 oz, so definitely big enough. My only minor "gripes", was that they do not offer a kids size. It's simply a small. I am sure it's to make things efficient, but it would be a nice option! Second, they don't have any tables or major seating, just a few benches outside. Lastly, it was nearly impossible to get some napkins. They do wrap your cone in one, but they do not have any dispenser elsewhere - honestly, it was more for me than my niece! Overall, they serve up delicious and fresh ice cream, so I would definitely return still, but would be nice if they had some seating available so I could enjoy my treat at the shop.
