Fabulous new addition to Gilbert!
Service and overall dining experience was great. Joshua was our server and he was very informative on the chemical reactions going on in our food. He kept calling me good sir which inspired me to be a better man and left me contemplating what makes someone “good” and a “sir.”

Origen Gilbert is a restaurant with fantastic, interesting and flavorful food that is presented beautifully. The steak arrives hot and nicely plated, with tender meat cooked evenly. Seasoning is light and the sauce adds flavor without being too heavy. Dishes like the birria and the tomahawk with bone marrow are highlights. The side dishes are simple but well prepared, and the portion size feels reasonable, making for a satisfying and comfortable meal.
The service is consistently excellent, often described as warm, attentive, incredibly professional, and knowledgeable. Servers are charismatic, make excellent recommendations, and provide polished and personal care that elevates the entire dining experience into something memorable. The decor and vibe are very cool. However, the music can be loud like a club, which is not the best for conversation. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service are top-notch, making it a highly recommended place where guests plan to return.
