I love that this speakeasy opened up on the Eastside, we definitely needed a place like this! Very nice decor, their drinks were excellent and the food was amazing, short rib and meatballs were on point. The sidecar had a sweet twist to your traditional sidecar cocktail but it was still very good. We sat at the bar and Chris was our main bartender, very good service from the minute we showed up to the minute we left. Would very highly recommend for a date night.
Ask for Chris when you come in! The dude is great at his job and just cool in general. His bar knowledge is deep, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome!
All I can say is WOW. This review is long overdue, as I have been a regular here for years. This is my favorite bar to come to in Gilbert! The vibes are always relaxed but fun, the bartenders are so helpful and knowledgeable. The specials are incredible. Shoutout to Kris for being on top of his game at all times!! You can tell he really is a team player. The drinks are great but I come back w just to see him!! Also, this is the best charcuterie board for happy hour you can get. Great job everyone!!
Painkillers in Gilbert? Yesssss!
Just enjoyed an early evening out in which we spontaneously gave this place a try. The dark, decor was a nice contrast to the 106 blazing sun outside. We had excellent Painkillers as well as friendly conversation from Kris behind the bar.
We weren't that hungry so splitting the Chicken Alla Vodka was perfect. We very much liked it.
Love the hidden concept (enter the place from either the back part of Crust or from the door in the back of the building). I'm sure when the weather permits, the patio will be a nice relaxing setting.
Very nice experience.
So far have only been there for drinks and they were absolutely delicious! It’s a perfect upscale, speakeasy vibe. The food at other tables looked amazing. We’re already planning when to go back for a full date night!
So this place probably is cool, but our experience was terrible. We came in and sat at the bar where there was old drinks and old food expecting it to be cleared away and for us to be served some drinks the bartender looked frantic and didn't even make eye contact with us look like she was just trying to catch her tail. She had some other guy trying to help her get caught up, who also didn't acknowledge us. Not a good experience at all we just got up and left. Probably a relief to the worker there but what an unprofessional business to not expect a Memorial Day weekend crowd.
I really like this bar. Cool vibe and the service is good. The drinks are great, but a little pricey. Would’ve been five stars but they got rid of their happy hour, which used to really help out. So now I have to order fewer drinks and pre-game or post-game.
Great Vibe, great drinks.
This is easily my favorite location in the city. The owner, the hostess, and the bartender all greeted me warmly and were overwhelmingly kind. Chris, the bartender, I asked for a custom drink and he made it with his own spin and it is the only thing I order here now.
10/10 everything, and a lovely environment.

Purely exceptional! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, each minute was wonderful. My husband and I never get a date night and when we do, the food usually is a let down. But finally, we found the perfect place for a perfect date night. We walked in thru the inconspicuous door in the back into a cozy long deep blue restaurant with great conversation music. Our server (who I feel terrible for not remembering her name) she had a beautiful smile, dark hair and super cool tattoos. She was on point and super helpful throughout our meal. We started with the "Lips don't Lie" and "Ostrich Pornstar" drinks..we both enjoyed immensely. We then had the Meat & Cheese board, Brushetta, Whipped Ricotta and the Warm Butter Cake. Nothing short of amazing. I would recommend all of it and the cake was out of this world!!
Thank you for an incredible, much needed, experience in which we can't wait to go back and delve into more!

The food, the service, the drinks… wow. Chris was my bartender tonight, and he was fantastic. He knows exactly how to keep the evening fun while being respectful and polite, especially when you're on a date. His attention to detail, great conversation, and perfectly mixed drinks made the night unforgettable. If you're looking for a bartender who elevates your experience, Chris is your guy. Highly recommend!

Went here last night for our second visit. Our 1st was probably 4-6 months ago (I know we don’t get out much - one word - teenagers) So 1st visit was fantastic. Second visit- just shy of fantastic. What’s great: Service, drinks, atmosphere - the bartenders even have this 1920’s art-deco/plying the speaker-easy part down… But here’s the not-so from the 1st to the 2nd visit…(and I realize I’m gonna sound like a curmudgeon…but hear me out) Last night it was the music…The 1st time we went it was more low-key jazzy-esque music. Last night was…well not. Typical loud mind-numbing “bar-blend” music with the volume dial set at 11. Now I get it, your demographic is likely the 25-35 age group that plays this stuff in their Tesla (also at volume 11) but I say be trendy and hip and lean into the jazz…Ella, Billie, Nat, Miles, Coltrane and even a little Getz or Sonny Rollins… Take the plunge. We Gen-Xers will thank you?

I love speakeasy’s. I’m a bartender and I appreciate craft cocktails! They have a decent cocktail menu, and one of the gin drinks on the menu sounded delish, however, I requested if they could sub out a different gin(monkey 47) because it’s a great gin and some gins give me a headache. I was totally okay with paying an up charge but I was told by the bartender that they “pre-batch” the base of the cocktails and then add the egg whites(for this drink in particular) and they can’t do substitutions. I asked if they could make me a similar drink with the gin I wanted and the other ingredients and was again told no! So basically bartenders here are not craft cocktail bartenders. They are serving up pre-mixed drinks and charging a good amount of money for them and you really shouldn’t be calling yourself a speakeasy. There are so many different and amazing speakeasy’s in the valley and part of the fun in visiting them is geeking out over quality alcohol and liquors and drinks and watching them mix something fancy up for you from scratch. That’s the whole freaking point of a speakeasy. Also, why even have all the other liquors on display if you aren’t willing to utilize them in a simple 4 ingredient cocktail! I hate to leave a bad review but y’all missed the mark on this one.
