Atmosphere was lovely: art that appears Chinese as well as some Japanese. The waitress was attentive and made sure we have all our needs - kind to us.

Regarding food, it is a bit of a gamble. Suggestions to order: Hunan beef, Orange chicken, and Thai tea are delicious options. What NOT to order: Teriyaki. The teriyaki chicken had an odor - either from the plate or perhaps sauce & meat? It was not flavorful, so please don't order that one.

We didn't have to wait for a booth, and after being seated by a young man, a very nice lady came to get our drink order and gave us menus.
I tried something new to me:
Chicken with Pineapple fried rice. It was delicious. The flavor and texture was just great. The rice was moist and not too dry.
Good service, authentic Chinese food and a relaxing atmosphere made our meal and evening a perfect one.

We were really bummed when we realized that we ordered from the wrong Abacus. The one on thunderbird is the one we are used to going to and it is the best chinese we've ever had. Upon already spending $80 here, we picked up our order. And we were unfortunately disappointed, as we thought we would be. This place has no flavor and is way overpriced.
