Unfortunately not in the area as much as I used to be , but when I am, it's my go to spot. From Chicago so i'm kind of picky. Very friendly, family owned. Still the best gyro with the best portion and fries around. My wife loves thier chicken Shawarma. Highly recommend
I just moved to Arizona from Chicago and it has been so hard to find food that taste like home but I randomly found a Al’s Chicago gyros and instantly fell in love with the vibe the smells the atmosphere and especially the quality of the food it brought me right back home, and Al and his wife are amazing people to come and see when you want some Chicago style food, I will definitely keep coming back here and the prices are very reasonable.
We were craving Greek food, and this was the closest. It was a good choice; the food was delicious, and the service was prompt. We both ordered Greek salads, and I added the gyro meat. The portion of gyro meat was very generous. Highly recommend adding meat if you are ordering a dish that does not come with it.
