I was really looking forward to trying Barro’s Pizza in Glendale after seeing it all over TikTok. I had high hopes for the Chicago style pizza but my experience was extremely disappointing. I placed my order around 9:50 PM and never received my food. By 10:35 PM I let both the cashier and the person who originally took my order know that I was still waiting even though several people who ordered after me had already received their food and were eating.
What made things worse was the lack of empathy from the staff. No one apologized or tried to make it right. The person I believe was the manager or supervisor on duty, Devon, did not acknowledge the mistake at all. He seemed completely checked out and showed no concern for the situation.
I was visiting from out of town and had been excited to try Barro’s because of all the positive reviews. But because it was already so late there were no other open restaurants nearby and this completely ruined my night. I left without any food feeling disappointed and frustrated.

I recently visited Glendale for a concert and ended up at Barro’s pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The cashier recommended a thin crust and the pizza was perfect!!! We had some medium wings that had the exact amount of sauce I look for. The chicken was nice and crispy, and the best part, I could tell the food was fresh. I would go again when in the area.

Not all Barro's are created equal. They built this new one and now we're in their delivery area instead of the one on 75th and Cactus. I get good pizza about 50% of the time now. It's either old crust, undercooked, or under proofed or too little of a topping, or spotty cheese. I prefer less sauce, so I'm ok with that. Wings are almost always dry. I've been just putting up with it for a year hoping they'd iron out the kinks. I've been eating Barro's pizza since I was a kid in California, so I gave them a lot of grace. I'm done. Time to find a new non-chain place. This one's gotten too big to manage I guess.

Barro's is a great place to meet with friends or bring the family. I brought my father in for a late lunch and was greeted with excellent service and really good food.
Pizza is phenomenal 😋...You must get it fresh super hot out of oven ....Order before you get there so its ready by the time you arrive!!!

While traveling to Arizona for a work trip, I had this place for dinner the first night. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a medium pizza with pepperoni, tomatoes, and pineapples. I also ordered cheese sticks. The food was delivered to the hotel that I am staying at and it was very fresh. This is by far some of the best and fresher pizza that I have ever had.

Placed $250 to be delivered through Door Dash. Called to confirm order and asked if I can have one extra ranch with the salad. Employee asked the manager for approval and was told no would need to go back onto door dash and do a separate order for ONE ranch. Absolutely ridiculous. Especially on such a large order. Very petty move from the manager. Employee who answered the phone however very sweet and kind. Not her fault at all she has poor leadership and manager who lacks good customer service skills.
