“Great spot for some amazing flavorful food and tasty drinks. This restaurant is right next to Changing Hands bookstore and is pretty easy to find and plenty of parking. We had a reservation so didn't have to wait but it was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon. We had the pesto pasta and a large salad that we split. The food was really delicious, different flavors, and everything tasted very fresh. It did get pretty loud with the amount of people in there but would be a great spot for dinner or lunch with friends and good for kids.“

“I'm a regular at this place and let me tell you: It's a cool spot. Homemade meals taste like your mom made them herself. Mamma Spencer, that is. A nice atmosphere, smells like vanilla burbon and is a comfy temperature. Very safe and alcohol is prohibited, so you know it's family friendly.Chef specializes in poached eggs on toast and chocolate milk, so I suggest you try that out next time you're there!It may not seem like it at first, but this is a great place to just go and hang out. Coming from New York where you can get any type of food at any time, it is refreshing to see the ethnicity out here. The owner Angel , is welcoming and so warm. She allows people to sample before they buy. If they are new to this type of palette. The restaurant is small and cozy and reminds me of one of the personal restaurants in NY. Only. “If you’re looking for breakfast with smiles and even more massive portions, look no further. I walked in, and every server was smiling like they’d all just won a lifetime supply of coffee …. 😄 contagious cheer everywhere! They asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside. I went for inside, thinking the sun could wait (note to self: wear sunscreen next time). Inside turned out to be just fine, though, because I got a front row seat to Jeff, my server extraordinaire.

Jeff knew the menu like the back of his hand and guided me to some stellar choices, which ended up being a brilliant decision. When my food arrived, I realized this place doesn’t mess around with portions … they serve up mountains! And the freshness? Top-notch. They brought out yogurt and fruit that looked like it had just taken a detour from the farmer’s market. I’m talking bright, juicy berries and creamy yogurt that made the whole meal feel like a spa day for my taste buds.

“Just like anywhere else these days, they need more staff. They really try hard, but the servers are stretched too thin. They do a good job with what they have, but…. It could be better. They have an empty humidor for over three years there, wish they’d sell cigars.“
